The Big Fake Wedding Houston Contest

Contest is open to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia, at least 18 years old as of the date of entry (except residents of Alabama and Nebraska must be at least 19 years old as of the date of entry) who enter on prior to Monday, November 14, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. EST. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES. By entering the Promotion, you fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by and accept all terms of these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and Administrator (including decisions with respect to the selection of winners and the interpretation of these Official Rules), which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all of the requirements set forth herein. 

Employees of the Sponsor, Things Remembered Inc., and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. Void where prohibited. Contest begins at 7 p.m. EST Monday, October 26, 2015 and ends at 11:59 p.m. EST Monday, Nov. 14, 2015. Entries must be submitted by midnight EST on Monday, Nov. 14, 2015 and upon submission shall become the property of Things Remembered Inc., and we reserve the right to use your entry and any comments or images submitted in future marketing. To enter, eligible entrants must sign up for Things Remembered’s Wedding Newsletter with a valid email address. Incomplete, garbled or inaccurate entries are ineligible. Winners will be randomly selected by Things Remembered marketing staff at their sole discretion. All decisions are final and not open for review. The first name, state of residence and some or all portions of comments of selected winner(s) entries may be posted on Things Remembered’s social networks, within printed and online marketing, or on the retail website at any time. Four (4) winners will receive two (2) tickets to The Big Fake Wedding, presented by BRIDES®, valued at $25 each, winners determined solely by Things Remembered. Comments may also be used in other social media platforms without further permission.  By entering, Entrant represents that any commentary or other materials submitted as part of Entrant’s Contest entry are original and will not constitute defamation or an invasion of privacy or otherwise infringe upon the rights of any third party, and that the Entrant owns or has the rights to convey any and all right and title in such commentary and other materials.  In addition, by entering, Entrant grants to Sponsor, its affiliates and service providers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to edit, publish, promote, republish at any time in the future and otherwise use Entrant’s submitted commentary and other materials, along with Entrant’s first name, and any other information provided by Entrant, in any and all media for possible editorial, promotional or advertising purposes, without further permission, notice or compensation, in perpetuity (except where prohibited by law). Winner may be required to provide full name and street address, sign an affidavit of eligibility, a release and a Publicity Release, where permitted .
WINNER NOTIFICATION. The selected Prize winners will be notified by email to claim their prize Monday, November 14th following a random drawing. If a selected winner does not respond within twenty four (24) hours from the date the Administrator first tries to notify him/her, and/or the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, such selected winner will forfeit the Grand Prize, as applicable, and Sponsor may, but is not required to, select an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. Upon connecting with each selected winner and determining that he/she satisfies all eligibility requirements of the Promotion, including without limitation the execution of the required affidavit of eligibility, liability release and publicity release described in Section 9 below, such individual will be deemed a “Prize Winner”. The Sponsor will coordinate delivery of the Prizes immediately following the date each winner confirms his/her identification and satisfaction of the eligibility requirements and provides the documentation/information required pursuant to these Official Rules. 
 Winner is not entitled to exchange, transfer the prize or obtain a cash substitute. Prize includes shipping and handling.  All applicable taxes, including all federal, state, local and other taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest at any time in its sole discretion.

By entering this contest, entrants agree to be bound by contest rules and by decisions of judges, which are final as to all contest-related matters.  In addition, by participating in this contest and accepting any prize that may be won, entrants agree to release the Sponsor, its respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers, and the officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees of each (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, from participation in this contest and/or acceptance or use of the prize.  Entrants also authorize the Released Parties to use their name, voice, likeness, biographical data and city and state of residence in programming or promotional material or on a winner’s list (if applicable) without further compensation unless prohibited by law. Sponsor is not responsible for failed, partial or garbled electronic transmissions, or for technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to electronic malfunction or damage of any network, hardware or software.  If for any reason the contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the contest, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest.  Sponsor shall not be liable for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or electronic entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web-site.  In the event of a dispute over an electronic entry, prize will be awarded to the owner of the Facebook account, not the name provided in the affidavit of eligibility.
