Boekhandel Selexyz Dominicanen - A wonderful Maastricht bookstore housed inside a 13th century Dominican church. The design, by Amsterdam-based architects Merkx + Girod, brilliantly retains the medieval architectural elements including the vaulted ceiling with traces of original frescos and the tomb markers on the floor. Books are mostly in Dutch, but the cafe at the far end that once held the choir is a most atmospheric pit stop.
