We always want to make sure your tires are safe for your little ones. Sometime between school, sports, and supper, take a pit stop at the tire shop.

#JoeSays: Tires can wear down unevenly, and it's important to check them from underneath the vehicle. Although your tires may look okay on the outside, it doesn't always mean they are. Just another reason to check your tires at The Tire House. 😉

Curious about our tire prices?

$390 total for a full set of these Nexen N Priz AH8 tires in size 205/55R16 (common on Corolla, Civic, Accord, Altima, Sentra, Sonata, and Elantra models).

Labor, sales tax, and disposal fees all included in the price, always.

Warranty? 70k miles, with 3 years of free road-side assistance, and 2 years road hazard coverage. If you're searching for a tire with the best value in performance, quality, and cost, this is our recommendation.

We just spent way too much money (yet again) updating and calibrating our Hunter Alignment system, but we did it for you guys.

$49 gets you a wheel alignment with us on just about every car, any day of the work week. We know the industry average is $75-$90, we just don't care. LA roads are terrible, and misalignment can cause premature tire wear and steering pull; no one deserves that.

When you offer free help and your customer thinks you’re pulling a ‘jedi trick’ and leaves.

We recently received a Yelp review from a skeptical client that really hit home for us. While our team loves automobiles and the auto service industry, it’s often difficult to absorb the negative reputation attached to it. Mechanics have been tainted with a foul name, and we’re not here to argue it’s undeserved. With our entire team having decades of experience in this field, we’ve seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. We’ve heard every terrible story and seen first-hand the damage dishonest and unethical shop owners have caused in consumers and we genuinely feel for them all. We don’t know why but we often find ourselves apologizing on behalf of these shop owners, hoping to restore some faith and goodwill into the people we meet. While it’s hard to go each day feeling like the bad guys, there’s also a strong motivation that develops in it.

When Rick came by needing some advice on fitting larger wheels and tires on his truck, we gave it to him. A simple, practical approach to his dilemma; one that didn’t involve spacers, adapters, or any body modification. But let’s face it, when has simple and practical been a norm in our industry? Rick was skeptical, understandably, and so we offered to perform a portion of the work for no charge to test our recommendation on his vehicle. A few minutes of our time to potentially save someone hours of stress and contemplation? To us that’s worth it. That’s what being a service shop is all about, and that’s the sort of behavior that’s going to turn this industry around.

If you read the entire review, you’ll find that this is the moment where Rick thought we were playing a “jedi trick” and walked away from our offer. Fortunately, Rick received a positive referral soon after and returned to allow us a chance to show him our solution. To keep things short, everything worked beautifully.

It’s moments like these that keep us positive and motivate us to continue fighting this stigma. Despite decades of negativity initially interfering with our intentions, good faith and an outside hand gave us the opportunity to prove our merit and show Rick a different side to the auto service industry; the positive side that we still cling to.

Our mission is to reverse the negative stigma, and we’re optimistic that as long as we never stop trying to help, and consumers remember a good few of us remain, moments like these will persist. Thank you Rick for sharing this experience with us and allowing us to contribute our thoughts. We look forward to more of these occurrences!
