Street art can now be found in some way, shape or form in nearly every country in the world. What's your favorite #streetart city? This colorful masterpiece was found on my last trip to Toronto and is still one of my favorites. Other surprising street art cities include Yogjyakarta, Ljubljana, Dubai and even parts of Kathmandu (if you know where to look). What's your favorite street art city?

The children of Nepal. While you'll always be in my heart, unfortunately much of the world has already forgotten about the earthquake and the hardships they still face on a daily basis, made worse now by the monsoon season. This doesn't keep them from smiling and dancing though!

Crazy mountain roads like this are what makes Nepal one of the best countries in the world for motorcycle road trips!

Indulging in a rare treat...pizza and beer! Well, technically only the pizza is a rare occurrence in my nomadic life. I eat almost exclusively local food, and yes always drink the local beer too 😉

Today I'm dreaming of beaches. After three months in the mountains of Nepal, it's about time to get some ocean in my life. Say hello to Galle, Sri Lanka!

Momos anyone? This Nepalese comfort food is found throughout the country in many different forms but I've found the best: pork momos with a cheese and coriander sauce that is so good they pour it from pitchers and people practically drink it. This place is a local favorite that is packed from the minute they open until all 15,000 momos for the day have been sold -- usually 9-10hrs. However the best part is that Everest Momo is a Kathmandu secret that tourists don't know about. Eat like a local baby!

Kathmandu is an electric city...but with a system like this, how they ever got the power back on so fast after the earthquake will forever be a mystery. And an overlooked accomplishment.

Aerial view of Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple of Kathmandu. The site dates back to the 5th century and was damaged during the earthquake but reconstruction and repairs are underway. This photo was taken from drone video footage -- that's right, I'm finally done with relief work and sorting videos from the last two months...
