There are no vehicles on Crab Island, only bicycles and boats. Main street is really just a long plank bridge and all the houses are on stilts. It's a fisherman's life for sure out here. Surprisingly few tourists as well, despite being so close to Kuala Lumpur. #travel #Malaysia

Harvest is quickly approaching and the trimming season will begin soon. For any nomads in California between late September and December, this is a great way to replenish your travel fund. After doing it myself for several seasons I wrote the ultimate #howto guide on finding work as a trimmer. 7yrs as a global nomad yet this is my most popular post of all time 😂 But rather than beg you to click my bio link, if you really want to know more just turn to Google. Any one of a hundred search phrases will bring this #travel guide up as #1 or 2. 'tis the season....enjoy! ✌

Local kid in Cambodia cutting huge blocks of ice down into smaller bricks, which he then individually bags. What might seem dangerous to some is normal to others. Welcome to life in Asia. #travel more, learn more 😉

Breathtaking domes of the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey. Despite the nickname, the mosque is not actually blue, but the interior walls are covered in blue tiles. Turns out there are several other "Blue Mosques" around the world, including in Egypt, Iran, Armenia and Indonesia. Have you visited any? #travel

Stewardess refused to leave the bottle with me. She also refused to reuse my same cup, which is how I know I drank 13 glasses of whiskey on this flight. It also made me realize that airlines generate a shitload of plastic, paper and styrofoam trash -- but all anyone ever talks about is the fuel and carbon footprint. If airlines don't care about the environment, they should at least care about reducing costs (and weight) #travel
