Our friends over at DICE have been using Terragen on the amazing-looking Star Wars: Battlefront series. Check out their work on the Bespin expansion, with Terragen cloudscapes below the horizon (wherever the camera is looking down on the clouds from above, it's Terragen!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5HMUAlxkws

We've released the second beta of Terragen 4 with some new cloud types and other tweaks, bug fixes, and an extended expiration date. Oh yeah, and the Mac version is now available as well!

+Nick Collins Terragen 4 has actually been finalized, but our new website is a little delayed, so we haven't fully publicized it yet. You can buy TG4 through our existing website already though: http://planetside.co.uk/buy/buy-terragen-3 (the link title is outdated, but the content is correct)

Your Terragen renders are about to get a lot faster... Find out about rendering optimizations in Terragen 4: http://terragen4.com/warp-speed-engage-faster-rendering/
Ray-tracing optimizations in Terragen 4 bring some significant performance improvements to rendering times where objects are visible in the scene. We have tested on a wide variety of scenes and on average Terragen 4 renders scenes which feature objects more than twice as fast as Terragen 3.

Could this be the first 360° animation rendered entirely in Terragen? Short but sweet, and very creatively executed by long-time Terragen innovator Hannes Janetzko. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjQQSrCWphU
