Why does Google love wasted blank space? And why can't I have 3 columns of content on 1080p?

+Jason Bouwmeester I haven't tried this on the new interface yet as I just got it today. But on the old one it worked every time.

Not bad, Netflix is still not as good as it's web version but, what ya going to do?

Finally, some good-looking, useful Windows 10 apps.
Microsoft has made a big deal about its new Universal Apps for Windows 10. While some developers are slow to jump on the bandwagon, a few have developed new versions of their apps just for Windows 10, and they’re worth taking a look at.

The most popular article on my blog is the how-to for installing +Blizzard Entertainment's Hearthstone on Linux found here http://brockh.at/HonLinux. To follow that up I've now provided instructions for running Heroes of the Storm on Linux. The beauty is that their so similar that if you follow these instructions you should simply be able to install Hearthstone from the launcher and go. This might even work for the other Blizzard games but I haven't tested those yet.

These instructions should allow you to install Blizzard Updater and Heroes of the Storm on Linux using Wine. From what I understand these instructions will allow some of the other Blizzard games to...

Just got this bad boy in. Not bad for just $99. I can tell the time, walking and sleep tracking. Simple, that's all I really need.

Yeah I've used that before. Nicely designed and it worked well, would still be nice to see them support the API thoigh. That's a very minor gripe and the only one I have with the Misfit devices.

This is how I start in to VR. I'm going to enjoy Sony's curated experiences. Once Rift and Vive and OSVR get their crap sorted and standardized then I'll jump in the deep end of VR on PC.

Get caught up on +PlayStation VR with this new trailer from +Sony! The footage confirms that they are still targeting the first half of 2016 for release. What VR games are you looking forward to most?

Hey Google+ friends. I've got a laptop that I need to get sold. It's an Asus Q501LA. I'm asking $400+cost of shipping.

Windows 10, Core i5, 6GB Ram, 256GB Samsung 840 Evo and a 1080p IPS display. The laptop is gently used but in great shape. You can see full specs here http://www.pcworld.com/product/pg/1366976303/detail

The only deficiency which is hardly noticeable is a slight curve to the bottom chassis. You can see it in the pics I provided. I think this is because one of the plastic support/connector struts in the bottom chassis has broken. It in no way causes problems with the function of the laptop.

The only reason I'm giving up this laptop is because it only comes with Intel integrated graphics and I needed a little more mobile gaming capability.

I'm an independent seller so I obviously can't provide a warranty so this is "as is". Payment through Paypal only. Please hit me up on G+ private message or Hangouts.

Ah, the revival of Chromium. Haven't seen this around since Hexxeh’s Vanilla Chromium was a thing.

You don't need to buy a new computer to try out Google's sweet laptop OS.
If you haven’t used a Chromebook in a while, they’ve come a long way. But you don’t need to shell out cash for a new laptop just to run Chrome OS. You can install it on nearly any laptop with an application called CloudReady.

Pretty bog standard Walmart. Docked a star for being maybe too busy at times and not always being the cleanest Walmart. Staff seems friendly enough.

Decent selection of books. Prices are rather high. The place also seems a little less organized that most other book stores. Over all not an amazing experience unless they happen to have a book you can't find elsewhere.

Very fast service. Despite their speed and intensity the staff is still very polite. I figured I'd see the usual, one, maybe two guys pull the car in pop the hood do their thing and roll on. In fact 3 or 4 people descended on my vehicle. The oil was changed but they also cleaned all the garbage out of my car, checked my lights and washed my windows. To top it off apparently I had dropped a dollar bill and they had tucked it neatly into my cup holder when they could have very well made off with it. Throw in a very neat and well kept waiting area with complementary coffee, snacks and a tv and it was a very, unexpectedly, pleasant visit. Every company should stop by Kwik Kar of Yukon to see how customer service is supposed to work. I'm moving back to Iowa can I take Kwik Kar with me!?

Large clean laundromat. The equipment seems older but is well maintained and clean. Free wifi but you have to ask the attendant for the password. Prices are ok. $1.75 for a standard washer but only $0.75 for a huge dryer. If I find myself in need of a laundromat again this is where I'll head.

Delivery is reasonably fast. Food is always hot and fresh. Crust is somewhere between thin crust and a regular crust from Dominos or the like. The main difference is this crust is delicious. It seems to be a potato bread crust that is crispy on the outside and soft and airy inside.

Appeared to be a brand new Subway. Very clean and nice decour. Huge windows let you see the area around the restaurant. Staff was super friendly. Food was spot on. Price, well it's what you normally pay at a subway. Great experience all around!

Biggest room I've ever had for $70/night. I got the single king non-smoking. It's practically a suite. The room was very clean and pretty well kept. There were small signs of wear which is to be expected at a slightly lower cost hotel but nothing worth commenting on. The bed was super comfortable and the room had a nice Samsung HD TV along with premium channels. The staff was very nice and very helpful. The breakfast was the typical waffles, cereal, bagels, fruit and yogurt deal you get at most hotels that offer free breakfast. This place is great and I'll be staying there every time I pass through Kansas City.
