Singapore's airport has won 500 Best Airport awards, certainly in part owing to the free Wi-Fi, butterfly garden and complimentary massage chairs dotting the terminals. The 160-plus dining options, without a single stale cinnamon bun place in sight, also helps snag all the accolades. A reflection of Singapore itself, the hub offers Chinese, halal and Indian restaurants. There is a new mini hawker center. There is kaya toast if you're leaving early and ice kachang if you're around for dessert. If you have a long enough layover, you can order bar snacks and watch planes land while swimming in a pool. This is the best airport in the world, and here's where to grab its finest food.
With free massage chairs, a butterfly garden and a swimming pool, Singapore's Changi Airport is arguably the best airport in the world. Here's where to grab its finest food.

We may not know much about football, but every year we get pumped for the Super Bowl like everyone else—for the food. A Super Bowl party without a delicious spread is just some people sitting around watching swole millionaires toss a ball around and hit each other on TV.
Spice up your spread this Super Bowl with some Tex-Mex spins on game-day staples.

A looming snowstorm is the perfect excuse to pull out that time-intensive recipe you've been sitting on for a while, but haven't been able to try. We're talking about the braises, confits and ragus that require hours of simmering, or that ambitious baking project you've been putting off.

Here's what to cook when you're stuck in the house with tons of time on your hands.

These dishes taste best when accompanied by snow falling heavily outside the window.

A CSA, which stands for community-supported agriculture, can be a wonderful way to learn about different kinds of produce while supporting local communities. From the farmers' perspectives, the model provides a reliable base of customers for their seasonal produce, which can be a crucial lifeline for smaller operations. For the consumers, CSAs can also be a great way to force home cooks out of their comfort zones with whatever they're given that week or month.
Community-supported agriculture means a lot more than just fresh produce. These days, you can get practically anything through a CSA.

Stroll down Bleecker Street in Manhattan's Greenwich Village almost any day of the week around lunchtime, and you're likely to see a line of people waiting outside a white brick building on the corner of Macdougal. Invariably, there's a mix of art students from nearby NYU sporting all black, stylish girls who spend half of their paychecks on their outfits, slightly more formally dressed folks in their 30s who have slipped out of the office for lunch and even a bike delivery guy, helmet in hand. It's an unexpected mix of people, but New York restaurant phenoms can make for eclectic line patrons.
Chef Chloe Coscarelli and Samantha Wasser are the powerhouses behind the vegan hit By Chloe.

Behold New York's newest breakfast sandwich: the wd-Ansel Egg Melt, from Cronut master Dominique Ansel and molecular gastronomy geek Wylie Dufresne.
New York's newest breakfast sandwich comes from the Cronut creator and a molecular gastronomy icon. It sort of looks like an Egg McMuffin that just won the lottery.

It was around the time that Anthony Myint was launching ZeroFoodprint—an organization that advises restaurants on how to reduce their carbon footprint—that he and wife Karen Leibowitz started to think: "If you started a [restaurant] from scratch and wanted to have the least [negative] environmental impact as possible, how would you do that?" recalls Leibowitz.
Mission Chinese Food's owners want to start an environmental revolution with their new project, The Perennial.

If you don't have a jiggly mound of cold duck blood in the fridge, you might as well move on.

"You can't make an authentic hot and sour soup in the United States because you can't get coagulated duck's blood," Jung-Feng Chiang explains through John and Ellen Schrecker in the seminal 1976 Mrs. Chiang's Szechwan Cookbook.
Bring on the heat with homemade hot and sour soup and with expert tips from top chefs.
