While running his second 5k a few weeks ago, Total Artificial Heart recipient Johnny Lemucchi met fellow heart transplant recipient and former Major League Baseball player Rod Carew. Johnny is currently training for the 2018 Transplant Olympics, riding 125 miles a week and walking/running 7 to 10 miles a day! Johnny says his motivation is his donor's family, who recently accepted his letter and whom he hopes to meet one day.
