Reminders: Microsoft/Windows support does NOT CALL YOU. The IRS DOES NOT CALL YOU unless you have already received several certified letters. If you have, call THAT number.

Businesses attempting to be compliant with GDPR guidelines for privacy WILL NOT CALL YOU EITHER. This has been generating a TON of scam emails, letters and calls regarding compliance for these new over the top, but pretty necessary guidelines.

DO NOT give people personal information over the phone unless you have CALLED THEM (not returned a call from a message or a sketchy email). If you are one of my friends on FB, forward me this crap and I'll help guide you as to the validity. PLEASE DO NOT click, call or talk to these scammers.

Sometimes, that "funny little niche" you found for yourself can be the start of something amazing. This story of doing what you love made my Sunday hammock reading. Give yourself a little inspiration to start this weekend off.

TIP for when you need easy video conversion from iPhone mov to mpeg.

I have tried a lot of conversion software and tools like Camtasia don't work for MOV files.
For simple quick video needs (not high or high res),

1. Upload the video to YouTube in PRIVATE mode
2. Download the MP4 to use however you need to.
It's that quick and easy!

Are you trying to delete your Facebook account? It's not as easy as it sounds.

FB is always looking out for you in case you didn't really mean to. It allows you to deactivate, request to delete, then it takes up to 90 days for it to go through completely AND if you accidentally open it during that time, the deletion process starts all over.

Spam Getting to Your Cell Phone? Well, there's one to really watch out for.

It's called "Smishing", A.K.A. "SMS Phishing". This is when a spoof number texts you a message that looks real enough for the naked eye to trust. It relays a trusted source as the number texting you, like your bank, claims your debit card has made a possible fraudulent purchase and convinces you to call the number they provide.

AVOID THIS SCAM:
1) If you receive a message from your bank, do not call back on the number they provide, use the back of your debit/credit card.
2) Never relay security information like your PIN, credit information, or full passwords over the phone.
3) Be vigilant. Scammers are more skilled than we think in making messages look official. Do not click the links provided with the texts, always type the link into your web browser separately.
4) Trust your instincts.
5) Take your time.
6) Don't feel pressured.
