We have a saying in North America, “April showers bring May flowers.” Watch for it in "The Months Chant" video. Do you have a similar saying where you come from?

Story

Easy-to-teach. Easy-to-learn. Super fun.
Introduction
Years ago, we were looking for easy-to-teach, easy-to-learn songs we could use with our young learners in Tokyo, Japan. We had students who were total beginner English speakers, and students who grew up as English/Japanese bilinguals, but all of our young students had the same difficulties singing classic English kids' songs.

Sometimes the lyrics were too difficult or sung too fast to understand. Sometimes the music was too fast for very young learners to keep up with and do gestures with. Sometimes the songs just weren't fun enough.

So we decided to make our own songs...songs that were simple enough for beginning English speakers (whether they be ESL/EFL students or very young native English speakers), and fun enough for older, more advanced speakers.

Now based in Seattle, WA, we've been thrilled to see the songs catch on with teachers, parents, and children around the world. With our songs, videos, apps, and other educational media, our goal is to continue producing materials and sharing ideas that make teaching and learning simple and fun.
