PROs 1. Everything under one roof (i.e., Movie theater, TGIF restaurant and all the gambling you could ask for) 2. Plenty of free parking, valet's if you need them and good lighting/security in parking lot. 3. Rooms are well equipped, good tv, nice mini fridge, safe, small couch, good sized bathrooms, and well cleaned. CONs 1. A smokers dream...smoking is allowed in all common areas, which translates to everything, everywhere smelling like smoke. The room didn't smell too bad, but the rest of the place was grossly over smoked. 2. You have to buy the internet...it says free, but they actually charged me everyday I was there and all I did was use facebook. 3. You're in middle of nowhere, and have to drive to get anywhere. $75 cab ride from the airport, for one person, and you're about a $50 cab ride from the strip (ZERO public transport in this area)

I have stayed at the Suncoast numerous times because of their generousity for comped room. But that is not the only reason why I stay at this nice hotel. The rooms are clean and roomy. The casino has all the games I want to play. They have a movie theater, a bowling alley, plenty of restuarants to dine to, a nice sports book, and plenty of parking space but I use the valet anyways. And if you like to hang out with the crowds, the Strip is about 20 minutes away and Old Downtown Fremont is only 10 minutes. But what I really go for is for golf. They have Angel Park GC which is across the street and the 5 star course Badlands GC which is 3 minutes away. Depending on which side of the hotel you are, you can see both courses from the room window. You will not be disappointed staying at the Suncoast. Some people might say its smokey but I didn't have any problems with it and some people might complain about service but I've seen worse. So anyways thats my 2 cents but the only way you're really going to find out is by staying there and I really think you will be pleased.

The Suncoast is a great place to stay. There is so much to do that you needn't be a gambler to go and have a wonderful time. The housekeeping does an amazing job and leaves no doubt that your room was taken care of. There are many restaurants and all had amazing food except the Blue Oyster(awful) and the Mexican food place(ok). But there are plenty of other places there to eat and you wont be disappointed There are activities to keep you busy from shows to Bingo, bowling, movies, swimming, to the casino. The staff is more than accommodating; always a smile and friendly face. Regardless of why your in this area: This is definitely a great place to stay. The only thing I might change is the hours of operation for the pool and sauna. 8 pm is to early to close. moving it back to 11 pm would be nice. The exercise room has a variety of equipment for any level of workouts. The room service if you need it is more than accommodating. And your food is actually hot when you get it! A very pleasant surprise! The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are as well. It's a comfortable place to stay Thank you! Sincerely, Ed & Brenda Piel

I have traveled all over the world and I was impressed with the room. Quiet, clean, room. Honestly I felt like I was living like a king. Yes, it is a little smoky downstairs, but I wasn't really there for the gambling anyway. I was on a weekend visit to see friends and the price was right, the location great out west away from the maddening crowds on the Strip and still minutes to everything. I have stayed at MUCH worse places. This is a nice nice place with easy access and plenty of covered parking. I ate at the Fridays downstairs and for the first time actually enjoyed eating at a Fridays. Even the casino wasn't too noisy. I had a great time and will be back only staying here cause it didn't break the bank and I was very comfortable here.

Great off-strip casino/hotel. Felt casual but still felt like Vegas style casino. Drinks were always comped for play, even at the bar. Better, bigger room than I've had on strip - can't beat the wall size window with unbeatable mountain/golf view!! Chaucer of restaurants was perfect for us - breakfast every day at Cafe Sienna was great, loved the 24 hr bagel shop and Starbucks coffees at Java Vegas. Only complaint was no service till final night (of 5) My sign wasn't on door. Had to ask for towels and garbage trade in morning...but it was very full that week. I will come back!!
