This hotel is all about location. The inside lobby of the hotel was lovely, but the room (despite being 'executive') was tiny. we had a window that looked directly into a mildew covered wall about a foot away. Again, however, the location was perfect. The staff were all nice and friendly also.

It's historic building, I get that, but the rooms are still very small. Also, the heat didn't work, so they had to bring me two radiators. Not a horrible place, but I expected more for the price.

Nice hotel in an amazing location. The room. Was quite small for what we paid and there are no plug sockets next to the bed. Other than that had a nice stay.

Location, perfect. Just a walk away from central which is nice. However, walls are extremely thin and the room I was staying in must've been a bigger room previously as there's a doorway that's not very well blocked off so I could hear everything from next door. Shower is either extremely hot or luke warm. I wasn't fully satisfied for the price I've paid.

Nice rooms and good overall service. Carvery was very old asked had been sitting for a while. Was fine to eat though. Next time we'll try the menu. No draught beers and VERY expensive for small bottles of beer

Fantastic location, though not really a 4 star hotel. Air con is a joke. Rooms are a bit dull and old school.

Spent one night in the hotel. I was sharing a room with a colleague. The bathroom door was hanging off its hinges at the top so it didn't close. The showers thermostat also didn't work it was only extremely hot water. I mentioned this as we were checking out and I didn't feel like the staff cared. There was only one working electrical socket in the room. The hotel is also expensive I would of expected a more modern experience for the money.
