I went in for a spirometry test (measurement of lung function for asthma). Desk personnel were helpful enough. The operator I saw was friendly and courteous. I took the test and was out pretty quickly. High quality, clean equipment. I received my bill for the test the next month. No big deal, as I had called well before taking the test to find out my cost with insurance, etc. Paid said bill. Two months after the test, I received another bill. This was marked as the date for the test, but was for a visit with the doctor. I don't use their doctor. Why am I being charged for an office visit that I did not have? I already paid for the test, which was the amount I was told over the phone. I don't want to pay another bill that I was told nothing about...

This is one of the worst hospitals I have been too. Never again will I go here. I'm a truck driver, and at one of my stops I slipped on the ice right on my back. I went here in a lot of pain. The nurse that came in couldn't understand why I was in so much pain first of all, THEN they got my chart mixed up with someone else's and was going to prepare me for open heart surgery. They still didn't give me nothing for the pain, so I asked my friend that was with me to get a nurse so I could get something. She had to break up their little tea party which upset them to help me. They came in with a "Yeah, what do you want" attitude. Then to top it all off, they sent someone in who couldn't take blood. She ended up getting blood all over my shirt. Great experience. I'll make sure to come back to this reject of a hospital again. NOT!

I took my friend in when he was having a lot of troubke breathing. He has asthma and was having a severe attack. We gave the triage nurse the information, and as he was coughing, and struggling to breathe... we were told we''d have to wait 2 hours. This standard of medical care is unacceptable. We would have been better off calling an ambulance. Bet they would have seen him right away then...

The er doctor I seen by the name of Craig Andrew Hovda was the worst dr I have ever seen! I would run from that er if u end up having to see him!!! He doesn't listen to anything u say he just talks at u! Treats ppl like shit! Otherwise this er is great

I was schedules for knee replacement at St Luke's. When the pre appointments were made I realized there was one appointment that I could not do. When I called to change it the pre admission person in orthopaedics was rude and snide on the phone. It got to the point that I totally lost my temper. I was not upset about not getting the time I needed I was upset at how I was talked to and treated. I cancelled my surgery at St Luke's and scheduled it elsewhere. The lack of professionalism at St Luke's made me feel I would not get good care there. To make matters worse this person's supervisor called me and while she talked to me in a professional manner she basically told me I was wrong and that they couldn't schedule me for the time I needed. It was never about the time, it was about the nasty tone of voice, the bad attitude I got, the lack of care to my dilemma and mostly the lack of professionalism. Again that person did not listen. If I could give St Luke's a minus on this review, I would.

Went here in May to find some help with my depression after experiencing suicidal thoughts. Didn't act on it or anything and didn't have a specific plan but knew that I was not okay and needed help. ER staff were extremely nice and thoughtful and caring and helped me feel as comfortable as possible! However when I got admitted and brought up to the adult psych ward, the nurses and staff were rude and acted like they didn't want to be there, acted like I was a burden. They said they could order my medication from the pharmacy that night because it was 24 hours but I did not get my medication because of reasons they did not explain to me when I asked. They found out through a urine sample that I had a UTI but did not tell me until the next day when the doctor came in, so I had no explanation as to why I was throwing up all night with a cold sweat and fever and the nurses made it seem like it was not a big deal. So my first night there without any sleep, being sick and having no treatment whatsoever. Next day I asked what there was to do around there and if there was group therapy or something like that. Literally said to me "We don't just give out therapy. We can ask the doctor if we can find someone to give you therapy, but otherwise we don't give it unless it's asked for. There isn't much to do around here, you can sleep, watch tv, draw a picture, whatever." I was absolutely appalled that they didn't automatically give therapy to the people here or help them in any way. I was basically being babysat and recieved no treatment or coping skills or anything. The doctor however was extremely helpful in the fact that he told me about the UTI and helped me understand what was going on with me and even suggested some new medications that could help me with my depression. He was wonderful! But overall, I hated my stay here and I think there needs to be something done about it.

Excellent patient care!! The ICU staff was very attentive and caring. The nursing staff were patient with me while I regained my strength and listened when I got upset. The doctors listened when I described medications I had taken when I had pneumonia before. They were very complete when describing discharge instructions.

I don't what is going on with this hospital but the last few times I have had to take my children to the emergency room it has been the worst service I have ever seen. I am pretty sure I will be making a switch to mercy!!!!
