Devon’s nickname around St. Jude is King. “I can go through this with a smile or a frown,” Devon said. “I’d rather go through it with a smile.”

While Allie was undergoing treatment, her little brother Richie helped keep her spirits up. The siblings could often be found playing in hospital waiting rooms or, when Allie was inpatient, curled up in bed together watching movies and playing video games. Micah has always been an active kid. In late 2014, he complained of soreness after playing outside. When the soreness turned to pain, his parents realized something was wrong. Within 48 hours, Micah was at St. Jude.

Say hello to Abigail! In July 2015, blood work revealed Abigail suffered from acute lymphoblastic leukemia. At St. Jude, she’s undergoing two-and-a-half years of chemotherapy. Abigail likes being outside, riding her bike and making crafts.

Happy #NationalSiblingDay from St. Jude patient Bryce and his sister Chloe!

For many of our patients, brothers and sisters are an important source of support and encouragement. Every year, we honor the important contributions siblings make to their families during Sibling Star Day: http://bit.ly/239m7Hr

When Gracie arrived at St. Jude, she began a two-and-a-half year treatment plan at no cost to her family. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. Your donations help make this possible for kids like Gracie: http://bit.ly/25wRmuF

Finding cures. Saving children.
Introduction
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, founded by the late entertainer Danny Thomas, is one of the world's premier centers for the research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases.

St. Jude is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatments that are not covered by insurance. No child is denied treatment because of a family's inability to pay.
