My wife of 41+ years died today, at home, likely of a heart attack. We had argued earlier. Shame on me. It was trivial and vain. I don't know why I'm posting this here but she deserves to be remembered, even if just a little, indirectly, as an RN of many decades who tended to all aspects of health including the spiritual and emotional, and as a friend to any and all who smiled and lent her an ear, willingly, eagerly sharing their sorrows, joys and stories, even if just for a fraction of their time. Her love of America and its defenders was incomparable. As was my love of her.

I sit here by myself for the first time in four decades. It's impossible to remember my life without her. And will be challenging to continue without her guidance and cheer. Thanks for listening.
