Two years since +Veritasium
's exceptionally good video and Facebook has not changed one bit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVfHeWTKjag
I've seen more spam this month than at at any time in my life using it, and still a UX mess. Even two years on, I'm astounded by the number of clients and businesses that still chase useless likes and digital numbers, but them am reminded by the incessant need that some have to have a bigger..erm, everything.
A vapid, fake, narcissistic platform that sadly is still essential in digital marketing and shows no sign of slowing. It's like the Daily Mail became a social media platform.
My tip, post your tweets or tumblr directly into the platform, and avoid posting directly where possible. I see zero difference in growth or engagement.
Facebook groups are it's one key strength left and that's where more time is worthwhile, but spending money on advertising, is simply burning dollars. And that at least for some businesses and clients is one thing they don't 'Like'.
