An excellent review/documentary of the American built Atom 3S.

Nice to see the vehicles independently Made in America contain the soul of the Ariel UK tradition and quality. Ariel has been on many car lover's radar, and others, after that goofball Clarckson drove it without a helmet.

Sneezing, sinus filling up, head pounding. Oh, right, patient 0 sits near me.

I hate spring cold-flu-allergy combo. Took public transport, as my vision and ballence are bleh from the sinus meds.

No joy.

Very nice - I liked the demonstration.  Shows the power of 4 wheel drive but also the use of the limited slip differential.  If I had to do it again I'd get a truck with 4WD.

As much as I am a Team 555 Subaru Rally fan, I grin ear-to-ear watching most rally beasties, like old school Audi Quattro and Ford Focus RS.

Nice little video of the RS family.  The new streetable Focus RS is a technical marvel of AWD and hatchback.  I may even admit to liking the Enduro Blue colour on it.

"A Fine Sunny Day" is the name of the latest ale, brewed in honor of a good friend's father who passed away. In a month, it should be toast worthy.

They are coming... the hops look to be ready to begin their season. Perhaps not box 4, but they were late bloomers.

2nd day riding to work.

Honestly, this morning it was cool, windy but bone dry when I rode in.

Tonight it was meant to have been rain, shifting from snow.

What it was is sharp little raindrops, pretending to be miniature ninja icicle darts.

Either way, easy ride, with almost no other cyclist. Not none.

A bit messy, but good execise and cool enough to push hard without overheating. Overheating is the worse and that was avoided.

I got some heavy rain for a bit, around 6:45. Soaked me, in fact. I didn't mind, because I had exactly two times I had to put a foot down, the whole way home. Once at Lakeshore, and once when stuck behind the Dufferin bus. Funny how a lack of red lights improves the mood.

First ride to work this season. I wasn't even going to originally, feeling tired in the early morning, but Murphy decided for me by breaking the Subway system.
So I walked back home, changed over, packed, tried to remember everything I need and rode to work.
It was such a warm morning, I was wearing long sleeve shirt and shorts.
The tyres were a little too soft and I was a little to stiff. But all good.
Riding home was a contrast. Three layers of clothing, leg warmers, hat under the helmet, jacket all the way up due to bone chilling wind gusts.
I pumped the tyres up a little and I was little more limber.  Then I hit the hill at Greenwood and even in granny gear, I was pretty much running on empty.
But the first ride is done, I am fine, while I know my body will behave poorly tomorrow, without fail.  Having been out of saddle for so long, I shall get pains ...
By tomorrow it's beginning to look like winter-ish weather again.  So I'll have to ponder next week carefully.  I hate black ice.
