How to Make Google Drive Work Like a Desktop Suite (via @lifehacker) - http://ow.ly/vqBVf
Google Drive, and the apps in it--Docs, Sheets, and Slides--are great for people looking for a simple Office suite. It's free, makes collaboration easy, and pretty much anyone can use it. But if you're used to something more traditional, like Microsoft Office, you may be hesitant to use it. Here's how to make Google Drive work more like the desktop suites you're used to.

There's No Excuse for Not Backing Up Your Computer. Do It Now. (via @lifehacker) - http://ow.ly/uPh4I
At least once a month, some friend or family member asks me how to recover data from a failed hard drive. I help them as best I can, but in my head, my answer is always the same: "go back in time and back up your computer like you know you should've."

Nothing is more frustrating than a computer - you've come to rely on - failing. When our system had issues a couple years ago, I sought a local repair/IT company and found South Shore Computer right here in Middleboro. Since then I've returned many times and have always had very pleasant results whether it be repairs, software, advise or even a hardware purchase. John is not only "helfpful," but highly knowledgeable, personably and fast on turnaround. Highly recommended!
