One of Spybot 1.6's great things was that it was (is) available in dozens of languages. We loved to see translations as alternate methods of donating, to browse through our software in a foreign language, wondering what some of those words would sound, guessing meanings from our knowledge of the software. Seeing old and rare languages appear in an online world otherwise mostly dominated by English makes us happy. We greatly appreciate all the hard work spent by translators.
Spybot 2 is again a new heap of terms and sentences, and while the number of translations frows, the old barriers of the Spybot 1.6 translation system are huge and preventing team work in translation. Since Spybot 2 uses GNU gettext for translations, we were now able to set up a translation server that allows online translation and - more important - team work in translating Spybot!
