#Dublin Spotter Lucie promises a ride back to the 1920s with her newest spot. "The hardest decision you’ll have to make is whether to try the bacon banana bread or the chocolate Guinness cake – or just try both!" Whew, we really thought we had to decide...

War hospital - nuclear bunker - secret museum. #Budapest local Mihály was genuinely surprised, and it didn't hurt that "the young lady giving the tour was so passionate and obviously loved her job. Her English was excellent!"
I found this museum totally by accident. I got lost (as a local) in the narrow streets of the castle with a smartphone in my hand. Fortunately I found this

We thought this spot's namesake fight would be an easy win. Looking at the job they're doing over there at #Kiev though, we're having second thoughts...

The Nilus bar (Nilus is how we call the Niles river) stands where for many years a crap-selling store used to be. I guess the formal definition would be an

“We all think we know the culture we originate from at its best, but in reality what teaches us most about who we are and where we come from is traveling. Not the kind of traveling where we gaze at the spectacular scenery and extraordinary people through our dusty cultural goggles, but the kind of traveling where we immerse ourselves into locals’ perspectives, listen to their life stories, learn their languages and dialects, perform in their rituals, respect their customs, norms and values and above all try to feel for their hopes, dreams and desires. That’s what I call traveling.”

For great, non-cliché, #Toronto souvenirs. You’ll be so glad you didn’t buy your mother a Maple Leaf-emblazoned beaver, says Spotter Cameron.
Okay, so you're in Toronto and you want to bring a gift back home. What do you buy? A Mountie hat? A stuffed moose? A jug of maple syrup? How cliché- you'r
