Tenham cuidado nas compras com estes tipos da sportsdirect. Enviaram-me umas sapatilhas com defeito e agora querem que eu pague os custos de devolução. As sapatilhas custaram 39 euros e os portes custam 37 euros.

I have been trying so hard to pay for a pair of Crocs, but just keep getting sent round in circles.   I don't think Sports Direct want my money.

I bought some very good Merrell shoes in the Store in Oxford Street - the shoes are great, the store is awful, esp. the management in the outdoor dep. (second floor). They gave me the wrong size (7 instead of 8) - O.k. this can happen, but: When I wanted to exchange the shoes the next day, they didn`t want to do that because I hadn`t take the box with me. But I had the bill and they could remember me. We discussed, they blamed us, that we made the fault and the "nice man" called my wife "silly"! I can`t believe this and I never had such a bad treatment in my life. This shop is totally bad and incompetent! Frank from Germany

In the 3 online orders I've placed with Sports Direct, one item has been wrong every time. First one was a boys tracksuit for 9-10 year old that had the correct size on the packaging but the item itself was for a 16 year old (this was on the inner labels). Second delivery, same problem, ordered some size 4 goalkeeper gloves, which were labelled up as size 4 on the packaging but the product itself was a size 7 (again on the inner labels). 3rd delivery was the worst, I ordered some urban (baggy) cycling shorts that were £7.39, but was actually sent some different cycling shorts (tight / lycra style) that were £2.99 on the website, with an urban cycling short label stuck onto them and still charged £7.39 for these. Lots of hassle having to ring up and return items every time. Since this I've read many other reviews that mention the same issues, they obviously have a big problem in the product labelling department. Within a second of opening my parcel each time I could tell the sizes were wrong as my orders were for small children and the products I received were adults sizes and the wrong product entirely. These should have all easily been picked up by competent staff in my opinion. Unfortunately Sports Direct almost have a monopoly on sportswear in the UK with so many of their competitors shutting down over recent years, so I may have little choice but to order from them again in the future. However with all of this in mind I would only order from them again as a last resort.

Really poor, advertising stock not available, phone different stores and if busy they just pick up and put the phone down again. Simple answer, we spend our money elsewhere.

This place used to be awful, not anymore. It's not your usual cramped, tiny Sports Direct full of women thinking they own the place cause they have a push chair. I went yesterday for the first time in a few years and it's been expanded quite a bit, and there's another building being build next to it which is probably in relation to the DC, or maybe a store extension?! Large department store with tons of sports brands. They sell everything, fishing gear, walking/hiking gear, camping gear, push bikes, skateboards, ice skates, roller blades. You name it, they'll probably sell it. There's countless amounts of shoes with specific labels above them (running, training etc). Everything is spacious and a lot better than it previously was. Upstairs they sell "Fashion" depending on what type of fashion you're into. Cheap shoes and some average clothes. But if you go into the "Factory Outlet" you'll find a huge jumble sale. This seems intimidating at first, but believe it or not I found all brands of jeans in the sales, Levi's, G-Star, Police, Soviet etc. I also found shirts by brands such as Dolce&Gabanna, Ralph Lauren etc. Seriously worth a look if you're a bargain hunter. I picked up some jeans which retail at £35 for just £10 and there was nothing wrong with them at all, I made sure of that before buying them. Take note that Factory Outlet items are sometimes faulty, rejects or damaged in some way shape or form. Just some advice to help! There's also a USC on site which I didn't go into on this occasion. Free parking, although there aren't many spaces!
