First Aid Kit Premiere "My Silver Lining" Music Video From Upcoming LP 'Stay Gold'

Performing Song On Letterman June 12

Klara and Johanna Söderberg - aka First Aid Kit - have unveiled the official music video for "My Silver Lining," lead single from their upcoming LP 'Stay Gold' (6/10 via Columbia). Directed by Elliott Sellers (Broken Bells, Young The Giant, Portugal. The Man), the video shows the Swedish duo swirling through Paramour Mansion in Silver Lake, Los Angeles and hitting the open road, the perfect accompaniment for their most sophisticated songwriting and arrangements to date:

About the video, Klara and Johanna say: "We wanted to create an intriguing and mysterious world where everything is slightly off and the mansion slowly comes to life. The idea of things in life changing, even scaring you, but still having to carrying on despite it all is a theme in the song, which we wanted to convey in the video."

On June 12th First Aid Kit will perform "My Silver Lining" on the Late Show with David Letterman.  The song has already earned praise from places like Grantland, who said, "The blend of First Aid Kit's piercing voices is one of the most arresting sounds in contemporary music." They'll also kick off their North American tour next week in Portland, OR. Full dates below, including a newly announced release day show at Rough Trade in Brooklyn, NY.

Last week First Aid Kit released a new song/video for "Cedar Lane":
