celebration of the highly anticipated Netflix original documentary “What, Happened, Miss Simone?,” REVIVE Music/RCA Records are proud to announce the July 10th release of NINA REVISITED: A Tribute to Nina Simone album. The 16-track album pays homage to the legendary Nina Simone with re-worked renditions of some of her most popular songs by artists such as Ms. Lauryn Hill, Mary J. Blige, Common, Usher, Jazmine Sullivan, Lisa Simone (daughter of Nina Simone), newcomer Grace, Alice Smith, Gregory Porter and Lalah Hathaway.

NINA REVISITED: A Tribute to Nina Simone, was produced by Jayson Jackson, Suzette Williams and Peter Edge, Grammy Award winners Robert Glasper, who cites Nina Simone as “one of the most important and influential artist ever,” and Ms. Lauryn Hill.

Highlighting Nina Simone’s importance to the civil rights movement of the 60s/70s, political and civil rights icon Angela Davis crafted incredibly moving liner notes in support of the release. The graphic cover art references a red balloon Ms. Simone carried to Marin County Jail while visiting a then incarcerated Ms. Davis sometime in 1971.

Nina Simone is truly one of the greatest talents in musical history and with NINA REVISITED: A Tribute to Nina Simone, REVIVE Music/RCA Records hope to celebrate the music, career and life of the legendary musician.

TORONTO, ON (Monday June 1st, 2015) – Fresh off the release of their 5th studio album HUMAN, platinum-selling and chart topping Canadian rockers Three Days Grace announce a 15 date Canadian tour starting off on Friday July 3rd at Echo Beach in Toronto, with stops in Vancouver, Montreal, Moncton, Halifax, Quebec City, London, Windsor (Caesars Windsor), Winnipeg, Moose Jaw, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary, Fort McMurray and Kelowna. This coast to coast foray is the band’s first full cross-Canada tour in 6 years. Pennsylvania rockers Halestorm added as special guest. Visit for on-sale and ticket information.

Since first catapulting on to the scene in 2003, Three Days Grace consistently connected to audiences via hard-hitting, honest, and hypnotic anthems. Matt Walst [lead vocals], Barry Stock [lead guitar], Brad Walst [bass], and Neil Sanderson [drums, percussion, keyboards, programming]—once again continue that tradition on their fifth full-length album, HUMAN [RCA Records]. Their link to listeners is the most natural and human thing of all.
“When Matt joined the band last year, there was not a fleeting moment that we didn’t think we would forge ahead,” agrees Neil. “Life is all about chapters. Matt’s first show was in front of eight-thousand people on a co-headliner with Shinedown, and he came out guns blazing. He brought this fiery new energy to the band. We never looked back.”
"We didn't give him a choice," smiles Barry. "We hijacked him."
With Matt as their new lead singer, the band continued barreling forward full steam ahead. In between touring throughout 2014, they reconnected with producer Gavin Brown who helmed the boards on their platinum-certified 2003 self-titled debut and enlisted the mixing talents of Chris Lord-Alge and Nick Raskulinecz. For the first time, Three Days Grace cut songs during short breaks from the road. They would retreat to a dark, uncomfortable rehearsal space and write everything on acoustic guitars, starkly tightening the melodies as much as possible. On HUMAN, Three Days Grace comes full circle, yet they’re also newly energized with the addition of Matt (Brad’s brother). Closing that circle, Matt incidentally co-wrote two songs on the band’s debut album, also produced by Gavin Brown. HUMAN debuted at #1 on the U.S.Billboard Hard Music Albums Chart and at #16 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart in the U.S., and debuted at #2 on the Nielsen Soundscan Top 200 Sales Chart in Canada.

Critically acclaimed music duo MS MR (Lizzy Plapinger and Max Hershenow) have announced new details of their highly anticipated forthcoming album. How Does It Feel, featuring the explosive lead single “Painted,” will be released July 17 via Columbia Records.

Today, MS MR partnered with The FADER to premiere the music video for “Painted,” a collaboration between the band and director Tabitha Denholm (Florence and the Machine, Haim, Jessie J). “We were thrilled to work with Tabitha to bring ‘Painted’ to life in our new video,” the band says. “We were heavily inspired by Kubrick as well as the 1970s documentary ‘The Secret Life of Plants.’ Focusing on the lyric: what did you think would happen/when you put me in unnatural space, we wanted to explore the juxtaposition of natural and unnatural environments and what happens when they're forced to reckon with one another. The end result is a virtual reality psychedelic experiment gone awry—welcome to the odyssey.”  Watch the video here:

Featuring 12 brand new ecstatic, high-octane songs, How Does It Feel finds MS MR returning to the visceral, bare-bones intimacy that launched the band just three years ago. Their 2013 debut Secondhand Rapture had been recorded for a few hundred dollars in spare rooms throughout Brooklyn. For How Does It Feel, Lizzy and Max returned to their old stomping grounds in late 2014, specifically the neighborhood of Bushwick, where they rented a small room to hammer out new material. For the first time, the duo teamed up with fellow musicians to co-write new songs—Tove Lo for the album’s “Pieces” and MNDR for “Tripolar.” MS MR’s drummer Zach Nicita also co-wrote and co-produced a handful of new tracks.

How Does It Feel was recorded in studios in New York and Los Angeles, including Electric Lady Studios, White Bronco Studios and the band’s own Creep City Studios. The band once again collaborated with multi-Grammy award winner Tom Elmhirst (Adele, Amy Winehouse, Arcade Fire, Beck) to mix the album at Electric Lady Studios.

Having just wrapped a string of underplay headline dates this spring, all of which sold out in a matter of minutes, MS MR continue to tour the globe including festivals stops at Lollapalooza festivals in both Chicago and Berlin, Montreal’s Osheaga Festival, and Australia’s Splendour In The Grass. Details of MS MR’s fall tour will be announced in the coming days.

Joss Stone Announces ‘The Answer’ As First Single From New Album ‘Water For Your Soul’ Both Due On July 17th

UK soul sensation Joss Stone has announced that ‘The Answer’ will be the first single taken from her upcoming seventh studio album, ‘Water For Your Soul’ - both the single and the album will be released on July 17th. Following on from the ‘instant grat’ track, ‘Stuck On You’, earlier this month, ‘The Answer’ will also be available as an instant grat when pre – ordering the album from June 1st.  The single received its first radio play on Chris Evans’ Radio 2 Breakfast Show today, Tuesday, May 26th, as well as premiering online on

The striking track features snappy percussion, driving violins, gospel BV’s and Joss’ trademark soulful vocal. The song is a sonic reflection of the album’s inspirations, derived from Joss’ travels on her on-going Total World Tour, and was co – written with legendary reggae maestro Dennis Bovell and long time Stone collaborator Jonathan Shorten. Speaking about the meaning behind the upcoming single Joss said, “It’s annoying to hear people moaning about things they could easily change. I think you’ve got to just let it go, stop holding on to your stress. Of course, you can’t tell people that, they need to come to the answer themselves.  But you can put it in a song.”

Infused with elements of reggae, ‘world’ sounds, hip hop and soul, the ‘Water For Your Soul’ album, which was co- produced by Stone, features artwork designed by a Joss Stone fan following a competition on Stone’s website. Each track from the album will be accompanied by the top entries and the first of these, done by Erick Cord, will appear with ‘The Answer’ on Youtube from May 26th.

‘The Answer’ impacts simultaneously with Joss’ new album ‘Water For Your Soul’ on July 17th and is available as instant grat from June 1st with all album pre – orders.
Live Show
The Festival International de Jazz de Montréal announced that British soul singer Joss Stone will perform at Métropolis on July 5 at 8:30 p.m., as part of the 36th edition of the event. Tickets on sale.

[Los Angeles, CA - May 18, 2015] Grammy Award winning recording artist Miguel has confirmed the official release date for his highly anticipated third studio album, WILDHEART, out June 30th on ByStorm Entertainment/RCA Records.  WILDHEART is the long awaited follow up to Miguel’s 2012 critically acclaimed sophomore release, KALEIDOSCOPE DREAM, which spent 20 weeks on the US Billboard 200 Album Chart.  The album’s first single “Coffee,” and its edgy, re-imagined alternate version, “Coffee (F***ing)” ft. Wale, were produced by Miguel and released May 4th to critical praise.
A new teaser for the album can be viewed HERE.
Miguel first hit the mainstream in 2010 with the infectious first single “All I Want Is You,” from his major label debut album of the same name, a song which blended a stark hip-hop beat with Miguel’s creamy vocals to form a sound that was absent from the radio and established Miguel as one of the most unique and soulful voices in modern R&B.  The album also features “Sure Thing,” which hit #1 on US Billboard's Hip-Hop/R&B chart and second US #1 “Quickie.”  Miguel’s follow up was his critically-acclaimed, four-time Grammy Award nominated, sophomore album Kaleidoscope Dream, which features his third US #1 hit single “Adorn,” the intoxicating “How Many Drinks?,” “Do You…” and “The Thrill.”   In 2013 Miguel was nominated for a total of 5 Grammy Awards. Lead single “Adorn,” written and produced by Miguel, garnered Miguel his first Grammy Award for Best R&B Song and resided at #1 on the US R&B/Hip-Hip Airplay chart for more than 23 weeks becoming the longest running #1 in the history of the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hip Airplay chart.
