Learn more about PDFpen 8, our latest release! Sure you could add the image of your signature to a document before, but an actual digital signature allows the recipient to verify the identity of the person who signed it. Not only that, but you can also verify that nothing has changed in the document since it was signed. Find out more on our blog: http://smle.us/aeeiw9
PDFpen and PDFpenPro 8 introduce a great new feature, the ability sign a document with a digital signature, and validate digitally signed documents. How is this “digital signature” different from the signatures supported in earlier versions of PDFpen, you ask? PDFpen and PDFpenPro already ...

Verify your URL

The "Internet Productivity" group, which comes as a predefined group with TextExpander, includes "/testurl" a snippet which tells you if the URL currently in your clipboard works. Good for verifying a link before you send it off in an email or to social media.

1. Copy a URL to your clipboard
2. Type "/testurl"
3. If your URL expands as usual, it is good. If it expands with "XX" at the start, it is an incomplete URL

Add a predefined group using the "+" button in the lower left corner of the TextExpander window.

If you ever have to copy and paste text but don’t want the formatting, try this snippet: Set the “Contents” to plain text and make the snippet only the clipboard. Now your text is all cleaned up!
