After six years of legal action, our clients have settled a class action as a result of suffering institutional child abuse while staying at Fairbridge Farm School in regional NSW.

What happened at Fairbridge could have and should have been prevented.
Child migrants who were abused at a farm school in New South Wales are paid $24 million to set up a compensation fund.

A relief for our client's family - a landmark $2.2 million compensation judgment has been upheld by the NSW Court of Appeal after BHP tried to deny Steven Dunning damages after working at the Newcastle Steelworks.

The appeal court judges unanimously concluded the company had breached its duty of care.

Senior lawyer Joanne Wade said no amount of money can ever compensate Mr Dunning for what he is going through but to have that decision upheld means a lot.
A terminally ill ex-Newcastle steelworker will get to keep his landmark $2.2 million payout with a court dismissing an appeal by his ex-employer.

On International Workers' Memorial Day, we remember workers who died at work and from asbestos-related diseases. Safety should be our number one priority, one workplace death is too much! ‪#‎StandForSafety‬ ‪#‎IWMD2015‬

Fairfax Media has apologised to our client and settled a defamation claim after wrongly identifying him as a terrorist last year.

Slater and Gordon defamation lawyer Jeremy Zimet said this case was at the extreme end of the scale in terms of defamation.
The Age has reached a settlement with the young man wrongly identified in a photograph as part of its coverage of the police shooting of Numan Haider in Endeavour Hills.
