This site is a hack job. Their customer service is horrid. I received an email that my 'billing was on hold'. There was nothing wrong with the information I put in rendering me to scratch my head. I ordered a pair of boots for my girlfriend and paid extra for the items to be shipped faster than the free rate. This morning receiving the email at 930AM EST I then called 6 separate times to their customer support in each case being on the phone for no shorter that 10 minutes each time, it kept repeating 'Your wait time is 3 minutes'.... on repeat. After leaving 2 voicemails and a wait hold. I then tried to email ...twice. No response. Finally I visited the site and filled out a form to be contact. Upon receiving a call they declared their systems were down. After talking to the customer support I urged them that I paid more for shipping and now that this had wasted 3 hours of my time chasing this problem down and creating such a headache receiving no response. I asked if they could do anything to speed up this process as I've paid more money to get this item to me faster and wasted a lot of time out of my busy day rectifying this problem. They just said there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak with a manager and after waiting a few minutes for the supervisor to come on, I received the customer support lady again telling me that theirs nothing they could do, I reiterated my case again and she just stated there's nothing they could do to keep a customer who in reality would spend hundreds of more dollars on equipment. I purchased over +600$ from them in the recent order and they couldn't do anything for a new customer who just had a terrible experience purchasing through their system. What a joke. I will continue to spread the word of this experience and will vow to never shop at Ski.com or your sister/parent companies. I did really enjoy your selection but will not be shopping with you again and will tell anyone and everyone to do the same. You should treat the customer with the most respect, I feel that I was very slighted you will not get my business ever again. I hope you improve your customer service as this was probably along the same lines as dealing with a Comcast. At least with Comcast you can get to someone who respects you as a customer and will accommodate you to help alleviate your hassles in dealing with them. Just a shame.

We are a retailer that has been in the skiing industry since 1990. Our owner and company founder Steve Kopitz is an avid skier with over 51 years of skiing experience under his belt (he's 57 now). When he was a child he dreamt of owning a ski shop and Skis.com is the online expansion of his dream realized. Steve lives, eats, and breathes skiing. Annually he takes 2-4 skiing trips and has carved up the snow at over 25 ski resorts in the western United States. He's also been skiing in the Swiss Alps and even the Bugaboos in Canada, where he went heli-skiing. He's raised a family of skiers with his wife Kathy, who had to be converted to a skier before he would marry her. His two children, Brad and Jess, were skiing as soon as they could walk and Steve has made it his job to know as much as he can about skiing so he can share it with you.
