Winter
The Lake Louise Ski Resort is one of the largest ski areas in North America. The unique layout allows families and groups of varying abilities to ski together; there are beginner, intermediate and expert runs down from every chair.

Spectacular scenery awaits at Lake Louise with uniquely beautiful terrain that is both vast and varied.

Summer
The best Grizzly Bear viewing and scenery in the Canadian Rockies!

Cruise for fourteen glorious minutes, in an open chair or a fully enclosed gondola, to one of the Banff National Park's greatest views! From 2088m (6850ft), the spectacular scenery is yours to explore at will – there are ambitious hikes to the summit of Mt. Whitehorn for the hardy, or equally lovely short, leisurely strolls for those with more modest exercise goals.

Whatever your fitness level, Lake Louise will quickly capture your heart, so be sure to bring your camera to save your own special memories of soaring peaks, stunning glaciers, lush carpets of alpine wildflowers fed by clear bubbling springs, and-often-delightful glimpses of wildlife surrounded by the unspoiled beauty of summer.

My second home. Amazing staff, fantastic terrain, awesome snow! Can be a little pricey, but if you pack a lunch and buy your lift from costco it can help. Or go with a friend with a season pass. Try Ptarmigan, trees, Brown shirt, Rodney's Ridge.

One of my favourite ski resorts. I tend not to go on popular days (stuff like national holidays), however the lines are never overly long for and only get shorter the further into the resort you go (better snow, too). The food is overpriced, but that is expected out of any ski hill.

I snowboarded in Lake Louise for 5 days, it was great, they had super friendly Australian/canadian staff. Also, you have no idea how big lake louis is, it's absolutely huge. Further, in one day, there was powder between trees, ice and groomed trails!!!! Pretty much they have everything you could imagine. take a good at the map and join their free tour. I would definitely go back.

Great ski location. Found it much better for beginner/intermediate snowboarders as there are less flat areas. Buy the Lake Louise card if you plan on going 4+ times. Buy the Costco passes if not for ~75/pass. Go to the backside - snow is usually better and it's not as crowded.

Fantastic skiing, great views. Significantly more challenging terrain than Sunshine village. Standard cafeteria food as well as a gourmet restaurant mid mountain. Mountain starts at the parking lot, don't have to gondola up to the lodge. Beginner options on the front side, expert terrain off the poma tow.

This company offers groupons for tubing on their hill, but they've made them unavailable for use on Valentine's weekend, also known this year as Family Weekend. As in, the weekend that parents and/or young couples, usually broke, go out and do fun things with eachother. As in, they are scraping together their spare cash to have a good time. Don't tell me you don't make enough. Greee-heeee-heeeeeasy! No one likes a greedy guts, Lake Louise Ski Resort... This isn't the first time I've heard stories about how cheap you can be, and I doubt it will be my last!

Great selection of runs at different difficulties so very family friendly and great for beginners. Has its fair share of blacks for more experienced riders. Proximity to great accommodations in Banff, canmore and lake Louise make this a great weekend ski spot.

We were disappointed that although the website said the tube park had 4 lanes open, only 2 at a time were open. They said it was because they didn't have enough mats.. buy more! Also, lines are VERY slow due to the fact that someone has to "fix" the mats after each rider goes down. There must be a better system?
