Do you drink bottled water? Please read...

There are few things on this planet I hate more than bottled water. Just the crinkling sound of someone wrapping their mouth around one of those squeaky garbage accordions fills me with rage. I stopped drinking it a long time ago—and you should stop drinking it, too.

I would love for everyone on planet Earth to see this.

It all comes down to perspective. What's ours. What's theirs.

This cartoon does explain, for me, thousands of years of human history and human action (sadly mostly destructive).

It also gives me hope that if we recognize this, if we are a bit more open minded about looking at things from the other person/party's perspective, that we might change our actions.

I've given Ajanta 3 stars mostly for the style and ambiance of the restaurant, which is just what an Indian restaurant should be. However, sadly, the food disappointed, with watery sauces, fatty chicken and limited flavour. I'm sure they can do better.

I stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip and had a very comfortable stay. The style is modern, essentially a chain boutique, and there are some nice design touches around the hotel and in the room. I arrived having forgotten my washkit at home, and was offered a complete set so I didn't have to go out of my way to find any - a very nice touch, especially at this price point. My room was ideal with a very comfortable bed and exceptionally soft bedding. Really no complaints and I'd happily stay again.

Been here a few times now, both when quiet and packed, which in itself should say how much I like the place. It certainly makes the perfect happy hour spot, but should you decide to stick around there's a wealth of good drinking options to enjoy and varied seating. The area it's in is still building up, but there are good transport connections to/from via Muni, plus a Mexican place next door when you need something more substantial than bar snacks. Put it on your list.

Angel Island really was as special as it sounds. I'm almost reluctant to share this place with the Googleverse, but what the hell, I'm feeling generous. Just go and relish the beauty of the place. I'd recommend choosing a day when the air is extra-clear, so you can really enjoy the views to the max.

So happy to have found this place. If you're wondering what a hardware store SHOULD look like then look no further, this is the real deal. Knowledgable, friendly staff and a superb selection. Supporting a local business never felt better. Be warned, you may easily end up buying more than you went in for.

If you were to try and turn the city of San Francisco, with all its quirks and contrasts, into an audio experience, you'd end up with something not unlike Audium. This is definitely not one for the difficult to impress. Fortunately I was in a mellow, open-minded frame of mind when I went, so I quite enjoyed it. Sitting there in complete, and I do mean *complete* darkness, unable to even see my hand in front of my face, was both calming and liberating. I'll confess I even found my body eager to move in response to what I was hearing, and felt safe doing so knowing no-one in the room could see me. Some of the sounds are are quite grating, the audio quality isn't actually that great, and I kept finding myself desiring a pattern to emerge in the sound, but perhaps that's the point. It's meant to challenge, and it does so very well. At the very end of the performance the lights come up slowly and just enough that you can make out the others in the room and make your way out. However, a gently melodic sound continued and we were all so mellowed by the experience that the lady from the ticket booth had to come into the room and announce the performance had ended. Funny. I'd say drink a large glass of red wine before going in as I think that will help relax into it. As others have said, I won't be going again, but I'm glad I experienced it for myself.

After trying several motorcycle clothing stores around the city, Scuderia gets my vote. The layout is great and mercifully the staff didn't continually harass me after I hinted I was happy trying stuff on my own. There's clearly a good working relationship among the team which creates a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The selection of gear is excellent so I had no trouble finding what I was looking for and questions were swiftly answered. Scuderia deserved my hard-earned cash, and will no doubt get more in the future.
