I have week 4 at The Villages it is a Presidential. I am not really happy with it cus I have now taken my dogs every time I have gone 2 yrs or 3 yrs ago they charged me for my dog but did not charge my Mom for her dog. That is wen I found out bout the charge & have not been back. $100 per dog non refundable. I don't like The Villages ne way bfor I bought this. Now don't even wanna try. We have been with Silverleaf since 1986. We have gone for years & always enjoyed my self. But after I bought the 1 I did & found out bought the new charge that is non refundable I don't wanna go to Villages again!

Silverleaf is without a doubt a SCAM. 1st) They will tell you just about anything you want to here to get you to sign up. 2nd) Once you do sign up you're at the mercy of their terrible customer service. You can schedule a payment but they actual payment won't go through until days after you've scheduled it and they will tack on a late fee the next time you pay. 3rd) They will ask you to upgrade to "Diamond" after a year or so and if you don't have the money will gladly take the down payment in payments. They gladly took $1000 from my wife and did not upgrade us but told us the $1000 was for something my package already included. I WILL BE SUING SILVERLEAF FOR EVERY PENNY I GAVE THEM AND THEN SOME.

Considered as a second home and a play ground by my family and friends who I bring along. This place provides fun and excitement that is truly Texan. The horse back riding is amazing. I caught a huge 50 lb cat fish in this place. Lots of sunfish, crappies, and large mouth bass. My daughters are getting excellent with their Archery skills because of the archery range they got. Mini golf, weight lifting gym, arcade games, mini theater, and others are available also to enjoy. The rooms and lodges or cabins are both new and old but are well maintained. Compared to a vacation spent in hotels and resorts like this, I would always prefer the resorts because you got your own kitchen and living room. The only thing they said that they are working on right now is the internet wifi. Limited at the moment. I just did not care because when I am here... I am here to enjoy the nature! The cabins however, are already needing renovations or total makeovers. Smelly because people use it back to back. One family leaves and after cleaning another family comes.

Theses peoples know that "tour" no is only a tour and not is for 90 min. is for 4 or 5 hours so these are the first two lies. The resort is so beautiful but I don't like when someone lies to me. They need to say the true about the tour and! This package is good for retired person or a person who can pay the same day do not pay twice as much in interest.

I have been a property owner with Silverleaf for years. As a matter of fact I started out with a beginner package, but I always wanted a Presidential. It took me a few years but finally I accomplished my goals. I have had many years of happy vacations at 5 of the resorts and have been very happy with my accommodations 99.9% of the time. Just wish there was one closer to Dallas because of the ride but my favorite is The Villages at Flint Texas. I recently visited Piney Shores in Conroe and was quite surprised when the new company had fully taken over, It was a great decision for Holiday Inn to buy this property and I look forward to many years of happy vacations with them also.

Over-rated money pit. New owners are worst. Payment system is always messed up and the shares are over-priced unusable property that screw up your finances for life! Run away, don't go to timeshare meeting. Better to go on rentals, cruises and hotels. One day, there will be a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THESE PEOPLE. I speak this and I know this! True Scams and Fraud in the U.S.A.

Went to an event that they were at in December. Got talked into buying a vacation package for 3 days, 2 nights at a resort for $79. Had a trip for spring break scheduled, so I figured I could do this to fill the hotel issue. Yeah, I would have a "90 minute" presentation to sit through, but so what, kids would have fun. Guy told me I could call the next day to schedule resort. I waited a couple days to make sure my info was in there system. The phone rep told me they only book 2 weeks out. I told her that wasn't what sales rep told me and if that was the case, I want my money back. She told me she could put a note on the file to call me when the schedule opens up. She also said I would still get the $40 Visa card, and if the whole thing didn't work out, she would refund my money, even though it would be after 30 days. I am not stupid. I know they are going to promise whatever, and I would get screwed in the end, so I recorded the call. Texas law states only one person in a conversation has to know and consent to being recorded. I knew I was recording, and I absolutely consented. 😆 They never called me back. I called them and was told spring break was fully booked at all resorts. Told them fine, refund my money as agreed upon by the previous rep, and I told her recorded the entire call as proof. They could refund my money or deal with my lawyer. It was then that she came up with an alternative solution that I could agree with. Instead of a resort, I would get to stay at Crown Plaza in San Antonio 3 days/2 night's for free, and I wouldn't have to sit through some sales pitch. WIN!

My fiancé and I are not in the market to buy a timeshare. We did sign up to the membership for a year and a half. We are not able to book a room for a night because we are not owners. Every other month, Silverleaf calls our phones so many times for us to come down for a complimentary night or 2 as long as we sit through their sales pitch once again. I am most outraged that they mess up my payments every month. That is why I am writing this. They take the payment out of my bank account and then send me a late payment notice in the mail with a late charge. I then have to sit on the phone for an hour every month to fix this. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Plus, their locations aren't very desirable.
