Lewis Hamilton was almost untouchable throughout the entire qualifying session but the same cannot be said for his Mercedes teammate. Nico Rosberg ended up fourth fastest, after spinning on his final flying lap, and allowing both the Red Bull drivers ahead of him. #f1

Mercedes still have the edge, clearly, but we saw a chink in the armour as practice didn't go all their way. Hamilton had some reliability trouble, and other drivers showed good pace too. Meanwhile, Maldonado has had a pretty shocking time in China so far, and needs a good qualifying result to prove that he does deserve his seat in F1, when so many others think perhaps he doesn't. With rain in the air, let's hope for a great qualifying session to decide pole position! #f1

Formula One this year is the Hamilton versus Rosberg show, and whilst the Mercedes domination is a concern, we've got a heck of a battle between these two stars. Their teammate track fight in Bahrain captivated F1 fans across the globe and was the icing on what was already a brilliant race cake. Now it's up to China to continue that trend and deliver something even better. No pressure! #f1

We all already know that Red Bull used their own fuel sensors (which contrary to their opinion is against the regulations), exceeded the maximum fuel mass flow rate, used their own interpretation of flow rate and deliberately ignored the FIA stewards’ mid-race requests to turn the rate down. #f1

A lot of detail here ! Its a guilty for me I'm afraid . If red bull are innocent in their application of the fuel flow rule they'd still be using it and be disc once more ! Its all about gains and losses so without fuel control they loose u c . I hope this continual dragging the sport to the court disappears quickly , its becoming more and more in the game lately and times up I think . Either race , shut up or leave plz

For the past few years, I’ve approached the Bahrain race with a feeling of resignation – it is not going to be a classic but it’ll pass a few hours on a Sunday. As it turns out, this year, the racing was incredible. Whether it was related to the move to a night race, or just a handy coincidence, I don’t know, but from the moment the start lights went out on Sunday, you couldn’t spare a moment to blink. #f1

Three out of the four qualifying sessions we've seen so far this year have been wet, with Shanghai delivering a damp Saturday. The choice was between intermediate and wet tyres throughout, with no sign of anyone breaking out the slicks. Pastor Maldonado's struggles carried over from Friday to Saturday, but the rest of the field ran unhindered. #f1

Almost two weeks after the hectic but brilliant race in Bahrain, we've had chance to get our heads around what we saw, and start looking ahead to the Chinese Grand Prix. There are changes afoot at Ferrari, and Red Bull know where they stand when it comes to fuel sensors, so this weekend should see plenty of intrigue as the paddock comes together in Shanghai. #f1

Three Friday drivers appeared in Bahrain this weekend, making them eligible for Rankings points, and two of them immediately got on with it - a look back at an April Fool's joke that wasn't too bad, and a good choice of t-shirt colour. Meanwhile, the regular drivers were still busy, with punny photos, an overall situation, and a ride in a cool buggy. #f1
