#owlcon #xwing tournament. Round 1 was a victory for my rebels and the second was a horrible wipe to a fleet almost identical to mine.

SOE is no longer SOE...wonder what this means for #eq2  and #h1z1  and other games that i have become fairly well addicted too?

Looking for some advice on where is best to book my room for #GenCon . the way the housing portal is setup now I don't believe there is a way to get a downtown room so I am ready to get a room outside the city. People that have been to Indy or GenCon do you have any advice or preference for a particular area? Is by the airport better or maybe north of town?

Anyone know of hotels outside the city that have space where pickup games are more likely to occur or even space where I could setup to run a game at night?

Thanks +Darcy Ross. I actually reserved a parking spot downtown, not sure how that will work vs. just taking the shuttle. I like the idea of having my own car and not dealing with the shuttle. I will be sure to stop by the booth +Dieter Zimmerman.

"...a co-operative first person shooter and melee combat adventure, releasing in the second half of 2015"
I approve of this, although I have to see gameplay. From the description, it sounds like fun. I love co-op.

Really hoping that the #seahawks don't let this one slip away. Fairly decent game though.

Finally managed to run Shadow Raid on Extra Hard solo. I only grabbed the required 7 bags though. I really need to improve my stealth enough to feel more comfortable solo'ing the armor as well.

However, I once again failed running Diamond store. Its always some little thing that messes it up. Need more practice on that one.

I have never participated in one of the +Steam early access games before, not have I ever played a survival game before like #H1Z1. Has been quiet a fun 8 hours so far. If you do now know of it H1Z1 is a new early acces game from +Sony Online Entertainment [Official]. The game is a post apocalyptic, zombie survival game.

The game seems pretty decent to me considering it is alpha. Some very obvious bugs, but with a lot of them the devs are very responsive. Patches seem to be rolling out pretty frequently.

I am only playing PvE right now, but even there I can see the real benefit of putting together a group to play with. This game can be done solo, but you are so limited in what you can carry that it takes a long while to build up the needed resources to build a base. And then you have the issue of defending it from looters.

I am glad they are fixing the hunger/thirst issues which caused you to go hungry super quick. Even still, getting food and water is not a challenge in the game I think. Grab berries until you can make a bow. Get two or three bottles of water and build a bow drill to light fires. It does not take much time to discover these things and once you can hunt and clean water reliably you are in good shape. Just takes some practice, kind of like learning how to survive your first night in Minecraft way back when.

Overall, it is a fun game. Looking forward to seeing what they can add. The game needs a way to fish, it would be awesome if you could find climbable trees and make small tree houses.

If you are playing solo, or with a small team and can use another let me know.

Broadcast TV is less important because many can just grab it for free. But it is another notch against cable.

Tried Pollo Tropical for the first time tonight. Really great food if you like roasted chicken I highly suggest it. The chicken was very nicely seasoned and cooked well ( breast was not to dry). The four of us ate for under 30 dollars which pretty good for us. I can also recommend the plantains. Overall, we all liked it, including our picky 9 year old.

Montag's is a great shop for Pearland. In a city the physical size of Houston you are lucky if you don't have to drive to find a nice shop. Montag's focuses on miniatures and card games most of all but has a good enough selection of both board and roleplaying games. The shop is small, but is kept clean. Montag's is worth a visit if you are in the area.

Food was excellent and more than filling. Picky kids liked the chicken nuggets which was a not of a surprise. Live music, good atmosphere, great food and beer. Yum.

The food has been excellent I had the shrimp scampi. The server has been so so. The kitchen seemed very slow and resulted in us getting a few extra fillers. Over all though I would come back. Good food abd a nice quiet atmosphere .

Had the half roast chicken. Chicken was good and not dry. Came with a variety of things, potatoes and carrots/cabbage as well as a bread stuffing and Yorkshire pudding. Was a lot to eat. Topped off with a nice brown gravy was perfect.

I thought the food was good. I had the French Dip and the au jus had a good flavor and wasn't super runny. The service was pretty good though we did wait a bit to order and were not offered desert. Over all though i liked it. We sat outside which was nice.

The Dennys in Pearland is generally very good. Sometimes either the food or the service can be a bit off, but usually that isnt the case. Cesar ia a great waiter as has been mentioned in a number of reviews.
