We didn't win the alert...but they didn't capture Raven Landing. This is how the VS throws would be attackers out of a base. #planetside2

Infrared scope on my tank looking back at all my Ally's swarming over the hill that previously hid a sunderer and 40+ enemies. Sadly the other tank beat me to the sundy..

Nice to see PC focus. Of course, if PS4 sells like gangbusters, things may
change.

If not for GenCon, and the fact they are not holding it, I would have gone this year.

Looking forward to the changes on the Magruder, as well as some of the changes to sunderer cosmetics. #planetside2

I tend to see things as rosy...so I am not to worried about the transition. I know there are plenty of detractors but between the three games I play I have way to much fun.
Gamasutra speaks to Daybreak chief John Smedley and senior exec Laura Naviaux about why the company formerly known as SOE was sold by Sony, why it laid off so many people, and what comes next.

Half glass full is the way to go.  I like it!

Having said that, I admit to worry about Everquest: Next.  I can see them dumping it entirely.  :(   But maybe that's fine.  Just continue on EQ2, and the others, use the resources wisely.

A nice article.  I have always liked Smedley, I"m glad he's still around.

I didn't know they had an Austin office.

The Valve thing annoys me.  I don't understand why we can't have market for mods.   If you don't want it, don't buy it.  Mods are amazing, at the high end.  If these guys received payment, how much more could they do?

I suppose I should look more closely at Fantasy Grounds. It is available on #steam  now.

Some viewers may find this disturbing....

Drove into driveway tonight and was greeted by a hawk sweeping down off the roof. The hawk however dropped his dinner on the driveway as he flew over.

Now I have a headless bird with some bloody bones in the drive. Such is the circle of life.

Can't get near them. The fly in a tree. They are like little birds with clipped wings.

Its all about firing glowy balls of death and #masterbation. Serious, check out the video. And I have to know, why must my team mates at and right in a doorway that a dozen others are firing into? #planetside2

I tend to only remember I have a knife right after I get killed by one. Great video though especially to hear the sounds of each power knife. #planetside2

Looking forward to this in part just for the rules, but also because I am curious to see if we will get the types of settings we see come out for Cypher we see for games like Fate Core and Savage Worlds.

Sean, since this is being released at GenCon, are you running any secret games of another genre in Cypher?

I so very rarely get streaks above 2 or 3, this can as a pretty complete shock. Granted most were in a turret.....so it was a bit of an exercise in farming, but I will take what I can get. #planetside2

Tried Pollo Tropical for the first time tonight. Really great food if you like roasted chicken I highly suggest it. The chicken was very nicely seasoned and cooked well ( breast was not to dry). The four of us ate for under 30 dollars which pretty good for us. I can also recommend the plantains. Overall, we all liked it, including our picky 9 year old.

Montag's is a great shop for Pearland. In a city the physical size of Houston you are lucky if you don't have to drive to find a nice shop. Montag's focuses on miniatures and card games most of all but has a good enough selection of both board and roleplaying games. The shop is small, but is kept clean. Montag's is worth a visit if you are in the area.

Food was excellent and more than filling. Picky kids liked the chicken nuggets which was a not of a surprise. Live music, good atmosphere, great food and beer. Yum.

The food has been excellent I had the shrimp scampi. The server has been so so. The kitchen seemed very slow and resulted in us getting a few extra fillers. Over all though I would come back. Good food abd a nice quiet atmosphere .

Had the half roast chicken. Chicken was good and not dry. Came with a variety of things, potatoes and carrots/cabbage as well as a bread stuffing and Yorkshire pudding. Was a lot to eat. Topped off with a nice brown gravy was perfect.

I thought the food was good. I had the French Dip and the au jus had a good flavor and wasn't super runny. The service was pretty good though we did wait a bit to order and were not offered desert. Over all though i liked it. We sat outside which was nice.

The Dennys in Pearland is generally very good. Sometimes either the food or the service can be a bit off, but usually that isnt the case. Cesar ia a great waiter as has been mentioned in a number of reviews.
