With an extra couple of days in St. John's after our flight home being cancelled, I had time to explore more than just the bowling alley. Kenny's Pond Walk was only about 10 min from our hotel, so on our last "bonus" night I went out to explore. I didn't bring my camera on this trip, so I just scouted out with my cell phone camera.

Mostly various Christmas market shots from Munich: airport, downtown, Tollwood. So many hot alcoholic drinks!

Photos from our trip to Chateau de Rochegude, in the south of France, for the SoCraTes France software conference. They said we had the best room in the castle, and I believe them! The grounds included a park with deer, which I did manage to see a couple of times.

By chance, our hotel was right next to the Gothenburg Garden Society! On our first trip, I only had my cell phone camera. But, a week later, we returned with the super zoom so I could get some bird, bee and butterfly photos.

A whirlwind trip to Munich, first to visit close friends (celebrating a birthday, going to an Eco-zoo/Animal Park) and then for a few days in the city where I managed to find an abundance of parks and nature trails to keep me busy. Taking advantage of the 22 degree weather now, because I'm sure the walking won't be quite so pleasant when we return in December! (At that point, I'll aim for more snowy (?), Christmas-y city scapes.)
