FUNNEST PLACE ON EARTH. I went on the Giant Dipper this year and had so much fun. I love all the rides too. We have been going to the boardwalk every year sense i was three. Ive been on every ride but the fireball, Wipeout and some others. It has so much history too! We always go to the beach then go on the rides. The food is a little expensive but it tastes realllllllllyyyyyyy good, so u wont mind spending a little extra. fun for all ages.

Beautiful beach with a lot of water activities to get into. I noticed that there were a lot of beach volleyball nets by the wharf and the areas of the beach. The beach is very clean and enjoyable. I highly recommend this beach the boardwalk is awesome.

I've been to the Boardwalk countless times from childhood to present day and every time is a fun filled day or night! The Giant Dipper is a historic landmark and you must ride it if you're ever in Santa Cruz. In the summer, they have movies on the beach! And live bands performing on multiple days of the week. You also can't beat unlimited ride nights if you bring in a can of soda. Fun fun for everyone! Another must have is their corn dogs, mmm so good.

I love this place. Been there since 1987. Alot has changed but Alot has not. Great food, rides, people ext. They have shows, movies under the stars, fun games. . Wish I could go more often but I'm about 6.5hrs away.

You know the sort of summer memory from childhood that almost earns the title "the perfect day"? It's easy to have perfect days here. I love that you can walk around and go to the beach with no entry fee. You can spend as little as you want -- bring a cooler full of all your favorites from Trader Joe's, swim and sunbathe, maybe join a balloon popping watergun race for $2 and win a stuffed hello kitty, ride a rickety rollercoaster for $5-ish. The people working at the food stands will even give you cups of water for free if you ask for them. How nice is that? As for the rides, don't expect the really neck-wrenching, high speed, super long lined things of other amusement parks. This one was built about a century ago, and not that many rides are modern. I love the Giant Dipper (the rickety wooden coaster with a quarter million nails in it), the ghost blasters (it seems like a kiddie ride, but bring a friend and compete to see who blasts the most ghosts -- it's a hoot), and the log ride. Who can say no to getting splashed and photographed by the ride cameras! OH, and let's not forget the damn good garlic fries. I'm obsessed. I could eat a whole tray myself.

Passing thru Santa Cruz, the Sky Glider is a must 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Always wanted to come here since watching The Lost Boys. 👍 Came pretty early but I bet the place was pretty happening at night. 🌜

Great for the kiddos. Nice that there is not an entrance fee. Very affordable with many ticketing options. The "chaperone rides free" was misleading, not true. They give you a list of about 8 rides that are not supposed to collect for chaperones (if you have young kids). We found that half the rides were closed and only 2 honoured the chaperone rule. The ride operators (not all, but many) could use some training in customer service or attitude adjustment. Other than this frustration, this place is AWESOME. The beach was clean, facility was clean, just a real nice place for a family.

The sand has garbage(from illegal aliens and homeless losers littering on the beach) The homeless spend the night on it and leave their garbage and drug needles in the sand. They also harass people during the day. No one even patrols the sand or the area between the wharf and boardwalk.  Santa Cruz sucks.
