The best part of the hotel is the lobby. Not horrible, but definitely doesn't live up to the hype. Pool side bathrooms had mold growing on the wall and Tate's stunk like trash. Private beach had trash and wet towels all over the place and should've been better maintained. Staff (except for at Tate's) were very friendly. Room overlooked a parking lot and we could fully see into our next door neighbors' rooms when standing out on the balcony. I can't believe how people just left their trash and towels everywhere. There was even a dirty diaper under one of the beach chairs. They should either hire more people for upkeep and maintenance or stop considering themselves a high-end place. We won't be returning or recommending the Sandpearl to others. Very disappointed.

Time and time again the Sandpearl fails. They taut themselves as a Word Class Resort, but their customer service falls way short. This isn't a one time instance, I (and my family at times) have stayed their multiple times and there is always some sort of attitude or unwillingness to do their job. The latest incident is when I called in to see if I could get an early arrival for my family instead of the standard 4 pm arrival. I waited on hold for almost 8 minutes (which isn't a problem since I figured there were a lot of people checking out) when the operator came back on and told me the front desk was busy and asked what I needed. I explained to her what I wanted and in a condescending tone was told that they can't guarantee anything come in and they will check then. I asked for something for definitive before I drive all they way over there and was told that is they best they can do. I get it, but there is absolutely NO need to talk down to me. I'm the one spending the money. Don't act like you are doing me a favor for allowing me to stay there. They had better hope that Marriott never opens a high-end resort in the Clearwater Beach area. It doesn't matter if it's a Courtyard, Fairfield, or all they way up to the Ritz and Gaylord. Marriott products run circles around Sandpearl.

I am local on Clearwater Beach, and I LOVEEEEE the Sandpearl. It is my favorite place to go and anyone that visits I recommend stay there. It is a little pricey but its a resort! What do you expect? Great pool, awesome food, room service is great! It has the only Starbucks on the beach, so I get my morning coffee there sometimes also. Parking attendants are awesome! Overall A++

I was expecting somthing similar to a Four Seasons and this was NOT EVEN CLOSE. Had to change rooms THREE times and the 3rd room did not have a working fridge so my leftovers spoiled. Did not want to repack and change to a 4th room so we didn't complain. We had no room service menu in the room. Clock was not set to the correct time so I was 1 hour late to my meeting. Very disappointing!!

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed at. The room it self is gorgeous. Comfy beds and great room service. But the thing that makes this hotel a 5 star for me is the fact the it has a starbucks in the main lobby that stays open till 10PM which is amazing. The beach is the best your going to get. Servers that came to you and bring your drinks straight to the beach, and the restaurant on the beach is sick! The balckend salmon with mango sauce is to die for. I love coming here when I am in Clearwater cant wait to come back!
