I went here but it wasn't good place at all. It was all most nightmare. NEVER stay here if you want to fine for your vacation. The Smell was sticky and the heater was not working. We were so cold all night. After one night my husband was suffering headache!

My b.f and I been renting there for 6 months and was so disappointed how they handle things. When we just moved in, I realized all my clothes are ruined by the washing mashine cause they put water hoses backward. All my delicate, cold wash items had been washed with very hot water so I can not wear them anymore. The refrigerator making horrible sound, at night we woke up with that noise all the time. Guys from the building took a looked once but nothing hasn't change afterwards. Oh and when they change the pin code for the parking lot, we wouldn't know til we try the pin at the entrance, Wondering and trying old pin number like 10 times and when finally went to the main building, they would say, 'yah, we changed the pin code just today'. I mean, they do know our numbers and everything they can update, but just wouldn't do it. And the parking. We rent 2 units ,one is studio and the other is 1 bed room. From the Sandestin resort office we could registered 3 cars that we have. But at the Elation building we live they are saying different thing and that we could only park ONE car out of whole 2 units?!? I mean isn't this normal to think it would be OK to have 3 cars, sine we have 2 units ? One is studio (for one person) and one is 1 bed room(for a couple). Finally, they put a warning stickers and called us to move the 3rd car out. Oh well. as powerless tenants we had no choice but follow whatever they ordered to do. It has nice, I mean, the nicest view I've ever lived for sure, but I won't ever go back there by the people who runs there. My b.f. and I were thinking of buying a unit there but after this experience decided to look elsewhere. Period.

We went to Baytowne Wharf twice and it's a great place for activities at night with plenty of things for the kids to do. It can be pricey with a big family but the kids had a great time. On our last day we ate lunch at the Other Egg Place and the food was ok. The crowd during lunch and early afternoon(12-4) is much smaller than at night, but even when it's packed the crowds aren't too overwhelming and the wait times for the attractions are doable.

Loved it. Absolutely feel n love with this place. Staff was very nice and helpful. Made it about 1 hour early. When u went to check in room wasn't ready but not a big deal. Absolutely love that they have a variety of swimming pools to choose from but also personal access to the beach. With chairs and umbrellas set up. Water wasn't very appealing but its not their fault. I will most definitely be making this place my choice when I go back next summer. ♡♥♡♥

Mixed feelings for staying at this resort. I would be giving 4 stars if it wasn't for numerous things related to our room that were annoying or just flat out unclean. The staff, property and things to do in the area are awesome! We definitely plan on coming back next year....and maybe even staying on the property again. Now to the negatives. There were 4 adults, staying for 3 nights. We reserved the condo well in advance so the management had time to "prep" our place. We soon realized that there wasn't enough toilet paper, towels, dish-washing detergent or laundry detergent to last for 3 days for this amount of adults. We also found several things like blood on our sheets, dirty floors and empty cups from previous tenants. The lighting in the area needed improvement as it was very dark at night...including the stairs leading up to our place. I could see elderly people having an accident in the future due to improper lighting. Garbage was also an issue. There were no places or direction to put trash out side so it started piling up on the sidewalk the next day. Overall, I think with better preparation of our place and instruction as to where to place the garbage, we would have enjoyed out stay better. Hopefully management reads these!

The beaches are great (tend to be crowded) but for the price and the fact that we were far from the beach, you can find a lot of places directly on the beach for less. Bike/pedestrian paths are the highlight for this. The Village is nice but expensive and very touristy. The grounds are kept up very nice but the building we were at (Market Street Inn) was showing lot of wear and tear and seriously, no wifi? No wifi. Everyplace has wifi these days.

My wife and I stayed here on a long weekend at the start of June, we stayed on the bay side at the Elation building. Location wise it was great. Minutes walk from the Baytowne Wharf and a shuttle bus that takes you straight to the beach. We booked through a company called RealJoy Vacations who have several condo's and buildings in that area. Our room was what we expected size wise and it was clean. The kitchenette came with one of the smallest sinks I have ever seen, making cleaning the dishes difficult. The description said the kitchen was fully stocked so we were surprised to find no cutlery or bowls. There was also a damp smell in the room which would not go away, and my wife and I are putting down to us feeling unwell towards the end of our 4 day stay, and since leaving. You are told to make sure to leave the room clean or they will charge you in addition to their standard housekeeping fee of $73. We also had to strip the bed and put all towels in the bathroom. $73 seems very high seeing as the room is not serviced during your stay, and effectively all they have to do is vacuum, make the bed and put fresh towels out. I'd stay in the area again, but not with this company

Very understaffed. Took several calls to finally get someone to give us towels. They then told us it was too late to clean the room as everyone had gone home. Almost impossible to get anyone to help. Almost all employees would tell us that it wasn't their job and then disappear. For the price of the room I would have expected much better service.
