I played the Raven course I believe. There are 3 9-hole courses on this resort. The holes were in great shape and incredibly difficult to play. Had a lot of fun!

Best vacation destination in continental US. No need to go anywhere else for paradise. Been here all seasons and love it all times. Always something to do for all ages. Water always clear and beautiful. Food delicious.

The worst hotel I ever stayed. I checked in August 15 at the Bayside Hotel. The moment you step in the hotel smells so bad ,floors were so dirty housekeeper was there only for towls even for that if you tip them , Beach was too far if you don't have a car good luck .. Definitely Is not a place for vacation 👎

Its a good last option , or a great option if its would be a first experience of a integrated large scale beach property . Its beautiful and staffs are very nice , ready to help .I lived in The Village ( last minutes 4 July booking on Hotwire blind deal - nothing was available ). The Village is very beautiful and great for families with kids , lots of things to do and eat in the market and shuttles take you to beach (can require patience though). On looks it is a 4 star property . But its very hard to maintain a huge 4-5 star looking property with a 4-5 star ease of living/ service. They fail here .That said Its not bad , it works with some efforts of guests and lot of patience - which means 2-3 stars for me in service. The Problem - 1. This is bigger than many small towns of US ! Staff and facilities stretched / crowded . Check in felt like visit to Social Service , dialing operator in daytime feels like calling an airline during bad weather - huge wait times. Staff not to blame, if you find them they will do all to help you . Its a organizational issue. 2. I had never seen a BEACH RESORT that charges to sit on its beach ! It charges for towels and everything it could . A beautiful beach is of no use if all u see are umbrellas . There is no place to sit . Its a big beach but its very small for the town it hosts ! Water has lot of greenish weeds but sand is awesome white. 3. If you are here for a weekend like me , its a pain - you spend an hour checking-in , an hour finding building then parking then room . Then you spend an hour finding things like how ac works - mine had to be switched off for few minutes and then restarted for it to work . I found that out next day after sleeping a bit warm for a night. You have already spent a valuable part of limited hours you came for doing unnecessary things . Staffs are very helpful if you can reach them . But why should I need to call for AC, shouldn't just switch on work ! The trick to switch off and restart cost me a good night sleep :O. The problem was I always felt its trying to work as it was blowing air ! Generally in good resorts you are checked-in withing few minutes , shuttled in golf cart by an employee to your room and made aware of facilities by that staff . you are pre-handed a wifi password. Its a very smooth process. Here you are left to explore, call from the moment you are in and you are charged big in sense of time/money for it touting 4-5 star resort ! 4. Things that are free are useless if you have no easy way to find it, right ? I had lost patience to find where to get free kayaks, bikes .... The crowd at beach is just tooooo much . Nights were much better at beach, walking at 10 Pm felt relaxing and beautiful ! Days are pain . I hate finding things at expense of my vacation time , more so if I am paying costly . 5. I couldn't believe the nightlife inside the resort has cover charge! seriously ? Felt like scam ! 6. I didn't mind this too much because stayed for just 2 nights - but they only change towels - do not tidy up room everyday, they charge for it ! Seriously ? 4 star resort ? - Points to the fact how big and stretched they are. 7. Even some sockets of electricity were not working in room . All these just screams too less time for owners to look for finer details of every room . They probably are banking on customer's to make them aware and given the nice staff am sure they will fix it . But then the guy who points the problem just wasted his money and even more crucial vacation time figuring your problem. That is a deal breaker - I was kind on giving 3 mostly because staff interactions were awesome.

Horrible!!!!! Yeah it looks nice but don't let it trick you. The first full day I was there I was awakened by construction of some sort above me which I wasn't told about. When I got back from lunch the same day I was blocked from my room with caution tape and blocked from the beach entrance. Soon found out that glass was all over the walkway in front of my room. So there was no notice as to why my room was blocked off and I found out personally after bleeding. I talk with Beth the "manager" which said she would take care of it and call me back. I sat on the beach until 5pm with my cell phone waiting her call and never got it. I went back to the room thinking maybe she called the room and had nothing. Also the pool was unavailable and drained which we weren't told about. This place is a joke and I gave it one star because I could not give less. Don't try to get anyone at the front desk either because I sat on hold for over 20 minutes!

I'm currently staying in a studio room in the Pilot House... And it's not bad at all.... prior to me coming here, I read some really crappie reviews... almost wanted to cancel. .. but I'm glad I didn't. .. this place is HUGE!! Everything you need is in The resort. .. I do plan on returning. .. and when I do... I will stay on the Hilton side of the resort. .. I went to the beach over there, and the view is gorgeous. . If I didn't mention this, I wouldn't be; being completely honest... the room I'm currently staying in, can use a new carpet.. and some new balcony furniture.... but other than that (& maybe some updated indoor furniture as well)😞.. everything is fine, as far as I'm concerned. .. when you get to the resort... please look forward, to paying a resort fee.. $100 or more.. depending on the size of your room.... & I'm sure the Hilton side charges more.. because when I called to see if I can get a studio room on that side.. they asked for $340 more... I said.. NO THANKS.... But I'm sure the beach view was worth it... Oh, and the food at the restaurants here.. is great... & the drinks aren't so bad either. .. Anyone who vacations here; will enjoy themselves. 😊

So far, it's been awful. I am not one that wants to find fault but fir the price , i want to let everyone know about my experience..Checked in for the laua tower. Front desk forgot to give us the room number. Got to the tower, it has 19 floors and only 2 Elevators!!. It took forever for us to get up to our room because there was a long line waiting for the elevators.So, we got to the room, it looked clean and kitchen looked great. ..Looked for ice machine, cannot find it!!!Opened the balcony door, the door knob came loose!!!Called front desk, it took forever for anyone to pick up..they did send maintenance and fixed the knob...got ready to go to bed and when we opened the sofa sleeper, it looked disgusting! !!!Someone else's sheets and blankets and towels were in the sleeper! !!Called housekeeping and he came and he told the supervisor about the uncleaned sofa sleeper and was told that we need to talk to the front desk..asked for a lysol spray maybe because they cannot give us a cot but he did not have any spray. The sofa mattress is old and thin and looked like it's been used forever too. ..so we used our own Off spray hoping to kill any micro organisms leaving in the mattress! !!. The website i thought showed Wifi as one of the amenities, but i was told that there's no wi-fi..Also, they do not provide beach towels!! you have to pay for a beach towel is want I understood! !! ...don't know but if I owned this unit and paid for maintaining the place, I think I would check if they really clean the place. ..We are stuck for our stay here for now and do not have a choice but I will not come back to this place anymore. I would look at other places . ..I just feel like for the price, have some free beach towels ,umbrellas and chairs (have to pay too) to use, have wi-fi, get the beds and sheets cleaned, have more than 2 elevators! !!

Made reservations here at the last min to get away before I leave and go back to the military world. I have been to Sandestin's Resort many of times but never the Hilton. It is absolutely beautiful! But soon as I walked in I received bad looks like "There Goes the Neighborhood!". If you are Black BEWARE!!!!!!!!! I like nice things, but I love PEACE. If I want hostility I will deploy overseas again!!
