My wife and I stayed here on a long weekend at the start of June, we stayed on the bay side at the Elation building. Location wise it was great. Minutes walk from the Baytowne Wharf and a shuttle bus that takes you straight to the beach. We booked through a company called RealJoy Vacations who have several condo's and buildings in that area. Our room was what we expected size wise and it was clean. The kitchenette came with one of the smallest sinks I have ever seen, making cleaning the dishes difficult. The description said the kitchen was fully stocked so we were surprised to find no cutlery or bowls. There was also a damp smell in the room which would not go away, and my wife and I are putting down to us feeling unwell towards the end of our 4 day stay, and since leaving. You are told to make sure to leave the room clean or they will charge you in addition to their standard housekeeping fee of $73. We also had to strip the bed and put all towels in the bathroom. $73 seems very high seeing as the room is not serviced during your stay, and effectively all they have to do is vacuum, make the bed and put fresh towels out. I'd stay in the area again, but not with this company

BAIT AND SWITCH! SCAM ALERT! I booked online through Priceline. I booked a condo. I saw the pictures of the type of condo that I was supposed to get. The pictures showed a kitchen and a living area that had French doors leading into the master bedroom. What we got was a 1 1/2 star hotel room that the front desk tried their best to convince me that it was a condo. I can only guess that it is comparable to a Motel 6. I feel like such a sucker for paying almost $200 a night. To top this all off this was my 24th wedding anniversary. This will be a story that will be shared to absolutely anyone talking about a vacation in my earshot. The front desk either has no understanding of customer service or their hands are tied. Either way they unleashed a social media rampage that probably won't be satisfied for some time.

Loved it. Absolutely feel n love with this place. Staff was very nice and helpful. Made it about 1 hour early. When u went to check in room wasn't ready but not a big deal. Absolutely love that they have a variety of swimming pools to choose from but also personal access to the beach. With chairs and umbrellas set up. Water wasn't very appealing but its not their fault. I will most definitely be making this place my choice when I go back next summer. ♡♥♡♥

Recently stayed in the Beachside II Condo and ended up stranded in the condo due to the flooding that has happened on the Gulf Coast recently. I understand it is not the resorts fault that the flooding occurred but the service we received was Horrific! We were told not to try to leave that the gate going out was flooded and that was all the communication we received. We had no updates unless we called the front desk to ask and each time the staff had NO IDEA that we were stranded or that there was a flooding situation occurring! We were finally told that we could PAY for a tow truck to tow our vehicle through the flood waters to get out of the parking lot or we could pay for another night (in a very rude tone) Next time we decide to pay 350 a night for a beach getaway it will not go to them!

Beautiful place but no customer service. No one wants to help because no one in Sandestin actually works for the resort. Even the security guards at the gate. No one takes responsibility for anything. Its like everything is privately owned. Good be amazing with right ownership or management

This place was a real disappointment, not because of the facility but the staff working there. We arrived at 4 o’clock as the website said that was the check in time. We were notified by the front desk guy that it started at 4 but we were not guaranteed anything. I wanted to valet my car but was told I couldn’t do so without a room number so instead of the front desk attendant walking over to the valet stand they volleyed me back and forth passing messages, I felt like they were completely unorganized in this regard. While we waited for our room we hung out by the pool are which is very nice and drank a couple of margaritas which were also good. Once our room was ready we went back to the pool area to order food and drinks, the server asked if I wanted to charge to my room and I said sure. She told me I wasn’t authorized to room charge somewhat perplexed I paid with my credit card. When we returned to the room I saw we had a minibar but no key, so I called to the front desk to ask about it. It was the same front desk guy “Travis” who told me that because my wife paid by debit card we couldn’t have a key or charge to our room. This really confused me so I asked what is the difference between that or a credit card, he informed me that most people who pay with debit card don’t have the funds available to charge to the room. I have to say this ticked me off for being discriminated against for using a debit, we have credit cards but chose to not pay interest. When I told Travis how I thought this was wrong he hung up on me. So I walked down to see the manager Mike, he gave me the same line about most people who pay by debit don’t have available funds to charge and that is there policy, I told Mike how I felt and he only sided with Travis and how he made the right call. This is a decent hotel with a staffing and management problem, I have many options where to stay in the panhandle and this will not be one of them again.
