We are so happy to have Dinstuhl's Candy exclusively in Tunica, you have to stop in the atrium and pick some up, you will not regret it. The Dinstuhl family has been making these treats since 1902.

NOT SAFE--Grandmother robbed on casino floor My family has been loyal visitors to Tunica--and specifically Sam's Town for at least 20 years. It is their primary vacation spot, and my Grandmother (79 years young) carefully pinches her pennies to come here for her ONLY vacation. She even puts money that she saved for her kids to go to Tunica in little envelopes on the Christmas tree every year. Yesterday she put $140 of her hard-earned dollars in the machine but it did not show that it registered. While she was trying to resolve the issue, someone took the money out and cashed it. Sam's Town did nothing to resolve the issue. My grandmother is still shaking. She had to cut her vacation two days short. She was heart-broken at her treatment by the casino employees. Please don't come here, and don't bring your families. It is not worth it. They are not getting enough people coming through the doors now, so they can't afford to keep up with their machines so they are getting money in whatever way they can. I can't bear to see how sad this experience has made her. It would have taken just a small gesture of kindness, but they did not even call her back.

Casino itself was okay. The rooms were absolutely disgusting. Nonsmoking room smelled like mildew and the walls were paper thin. We will never stay in this hotel again. I'd say renovate it, but you may just want to demolish and rebuild the place.

We appreciate your comments and will forward them to our Hotel and Housekeeping Managers to follow up on room inspections.

We stayed here one night and it was fun! The casino and restaurants are all close to the lobby so it doesn't feel like a huge hotel. Everyone was pretty friendly too. The room was modern and the bed was comfortable, but the whole building smells of cigarettes. Unlike Vegas or Niagara Falls, there's absolutely nothing to walk to outside the hotel. I tried to hike down to the Mississippi River and it was crawling with alligators and rattlesnakes!

This is not a very family friendly place. The game room for persons under 21 is pathetic. Spent most of the night in the hotel room which smelled awful and was VERY hot even though we had the air on all night. After the buffet closes there is a restaurant across from it- don't even bother eating there. Paid over $40 for terrible food. The staff is all around bad, they don't want to bother with anyone and just stands around ignoring you when you actually need help. The only GOOD thing about this place was the buffet. It's not cheap- but it was good. Everything else wasn't even worth it.

Just left first time visit ... had a decent time.. power went out that night and day.. no air no lights in all rooms and management would not refund or lessen bill smh .. food service slow but otherwise good food, drinks, and entertainment . I would recommend this place just dont get caught on a bad day lol

Thank you for your comment and we do apologize for your inconvenience and ask that you understand the power outage was caused by a traffic accident and the restoration of power was out of our control. We will forward your comments to our Director of Operations regarding the speed of food service. Thank you for staying with us.

Hotel was god awful. Seemed very damp and humid just walking in the halls. Everything seemed decades overdo for renovation. The buffet was rather nice, though pricey.
Response from the owner - a month ago
Thank you for your feedback regarding the hotel and the buffet. We have forwarded your comments regarding the humidity and the renovation suggestion to Hotel Management. Again, thank you for your review and we look forward to your future stay
