Upgraded to a room with a beautiful view of the laser show in the atrium for free! Spectacular view! Both my wife and I found it to be very romantic. Nice shower and refrigerator. Nice TV! Blow dryer and light up mirror made my wife just a bit more happy.

Wasn't going to bowl, but so glad I checked out their bowling alley! HUGE bowling alley in the basement and only $13 for two bowlers, two pairs of shoes, and one game. For $38 per night, you can't go wrong staying at Sam's. Breakfast buffet was included in that price. Free bus ride to the strip or downtown. Beautiful atrium and cute laser show.

Check in area is very nice with an atrium and waterfall and show. Good food options, nice souvenir shop. Was there for a work conference so I didn't see the hotel rooms as I live in town. The smokey smell from cigarettes is strong, but no where near as bad as some other local casinos like Suncoast.

The room is very nice. The rest of the hotel is dingy and needs renovation. Upon check in, my rate was mysteriously higher, although I booked on the website a month prior. (Good thing I had downloaded the paperwork to prove my reservation). Free breakfast was excellent, lots of choices and varieties. Besides a broken and a slow elevator, the hotel was OK. Worth staying at the lower rate.

We went to Sam's Town for dinner at TGI Fridays for the steak and lobster special. As always, the food was amazing! Our waiter asked if I wanted any A-1 Sauce or anything for my steak. I asked for Heinz 57 but they didn't have any. So I took the A-1Sauce. When he brought it to the table along with the Jack Daniel's glaze to do the steak in. I would highly recommend any of the Jack Daniel's entrees because it has an amazing flavor! At the very least ask if you can get the glaze on the side to try it. You won't regret it! Overall we had a great dinner and the atmosphere was laid back and upbeat. Sam's Town is a must visit when your in the Las Vegas area. If you don't stay at Sam's Town, the rooms are very nice by the way, then there is a free shuttle you can take from either Harrahs on the strip or from either Fremont Casino or The California which are downtown. (Just make sure you tip the driver. It is a free ride after all.) Have a great time and enjoy!

Sam's Town is a great hotel to stay at. Being off strip, the location is convenient to stay and takes only 15 minutes to get to the Las Vegas Strip. The rooms have always been clean, spacious and well maintained. I've stayed there over a half dozen times and love the service, staff and the amenities of the hotel. The rooms located facing the atrium are especially nice, but even the ones that face the strip are equally nice. Sam's Town Hotel and Gambling Hall is a great stay for couples and for families. I highly recommend staying there on your next trip to the Vegas area; you will not regret it!

Came to visit family and eat dinner. The place is really really cute and offers many unique entertainment options to encourage you to forgo the long drive over to the strip. The steakhouse restaurant was pretty good but definitely much more pricey than I would have expected given the long distance from the strip. All in all, I think the atmosphere is cute and relaxing but not typically worth the trek out there.

I attended a work related convention. The convention rooms were clean and nice. Very spacious and an overall decent place for a convention. My only complaint was the AC system is loud and if audio equipment is not used it may be difficult to hear the speakers.
