The Quebec maple cartel isn't always such a happy operation for the producers.

Well, on the healthcare issue, the way they're doing it in the US is screwy because it's still such a profit-driven, corrupt model to start with. I grew up in NZ with socialized healthcare, and the system worked great.

Yeah. You have to login through some carrier. (I have Comcast here) they have way more available streams than just their channels. The have a second "tactical camera" stream you can switch to that is more zoomed out and shows a better view of where the players are on the field.

But yeah, you have to have already given them their pound of flesh to use it.

$195 for a flaxseed seasoned skillet with a smooth cooking surface is a reasonable price. People pay that much for vintage stuff trying to get good quality skillets.

Get one, and I'll try it out this summer when we're out there :)

What's the heat conductivity of CVD diamond like?

We never found the main exhibit hall. I didn't get any pictures, but Aubrey saw some maple rice krispee treats.

One simple life tip: keep some Band-Aids in your wallet.

When someone gets cut, it is very easy to grab one and give it to them.

I worked with David Burns to look at a specific vehicle. He was prompt and courteous and went the extra mile in making sure that I had all the information I would need to make a decision. The dealership is clean and the people are friendly and nice. They are an offshoot of the much larger Handy dealership nearby and from what I understand most of the vehicles on their lot started as trade-ins on their larger store. Rather than sell them off to other dealers, they have decided to open a store to sell good quality clean vehicles to locals at fair prices.

The decor is top notch - the courtyard on the way in is quite amazing. The food is good - the prices are a bit high, but not that bad when you consider the location. On our way to the Science Centre, our kids spotted McDonalds and were demanding that we take them there. We talked them into this place instead. The kids liked the fact it felt like we were in some kind of "castle" and we liked the fact that it wasn't McDonald's and we weren't rushed.
