Bad iPhone battery life? Consider getting a GSM iPhone for your next iPhone instead of a CDMA one.

My friend has lots of trouble with her iPhone battery life and I don't. She has better coverage than I do, yet worse battery life. Only difference? Her iPhone is CMDA and mine is GSM.

Thoughts?

I've spent a week on this model so far. The legendary Volvo V70 T5 wagon. T5 means it's turbocharged! It also means it has cool rims.

This would've worked better had the car been a color other than black...

Oh and yeah guys, just in case you were wondering, the details in the headlights are all physically modeled.  (Zoom in on this image!)
No bump maps, no tricks.  Just traditional modeling.  Same for the taillights too! That's how you make stuff realistic.  It may seem obvious but the more you model rather than relying on textures and bump maps, the better the final result will be.

I'm sorry? "Innovations from the future"?

Ok USB C is cool, but umm...
fingerprint sensor--Apple, 2013 (maybe some other manufacturers did it even before then?)
reversible cable--Apple, 2012 (Lightning)
S
"alert slider" you mean the silent switch the iPhone has had since day one? (i.e. 2007)
And umm...removable backs are considered "innovation"?

+Ross McIntyre I know but this is the opinion held by Apple fanboys and for once I am agreeing with them because Apple had all these (except for the StyleSwap covers; that was Dell; correct me if I'm wrong) first.

turns out 5-fold symmetry within a 7-fold symmetry part isn't too easy to do (check out the 5 lug nuts on the 7-spoke rims)

Anyway, got that taken care of with some only very very slightly cloogey modeling.  Oh, and check out those counterweights on the outside of the rims to account for slightly uneven weight distribution in the rims.   #detail

Let's hang glide outta this loser-emporium.
Introduction
I'm a digital artist, mostly a 3d modeler, sometimes a digital painter.  I started 3d modeling in the summer of 2006, when I was 9, using Google Sketchup.  Since 2010, I've switched to Blender and never looked back.  Here are some handy links to two of my other online profiles where I post my art:
I'm very interested in programming, processor architecture, and GUI design.  This means that something like building an operating system (on an existing kernel, or even developing a new one) is on my bucket list.

I'm going to be attending university this summer, where I'll be majoring in electrical and computer engineering.

My life goal is to create a consumer tech company that produces meaningful innovation rather than just annually attempting to one-up specs of competitors' products.  This goal includes the creation of an operating system as I stated earlier, and also creation of new UIs and product categories.

I wrote a Swift sketch to chug through Simpson's approximations for definite integrals
