Stayed here several times.. It's our "go to" hotel in PS.. Great pool(s) and food options... Little pricey for meals, but aren't most hotels?? Also, if you want a prime spot at the "adult" pool make sure you claim your spot EARLY or you'll be in a not so great location all day..

We're excited to have you as a loyal guest of our Riviera Resort and to hear you continue to enjoy our comforts, services, and relaxing amenities. We look forward to welcoming you back for many memorable returns and hope you'll connect with the team if there's anything we can do to further enhance your stay!

Let me start by saying, I have never written a poor review. I am pretty easy to please and realize that it is hard to be perfect! Broken elevators--poor service-dirty furniture and unresponsive management forced me to write this. THERE are many better choices in the Palm Springs area for the same price, or marginally more.

We're deeply disheartened to hear of these misgivings associated with your experience, as we strive to afford our guests with a fully encompassing escape across all facets of the property. We'd welcome the opportunity to learn the specifics of your visit and hope that you'll consider reaching out to our management team to further discuss. We'd greatly welcome the opportunity to share our more trademark hospitality with you and hope that you'll consider affording us the opportunity.

Last night I took a friend to dinner at Circa59 to celebrate his birthday, expecting the four star ambience advertised. That never happened. When we got there the band was playing so loudly that you couldn't hear yourself think. It was a gorgeous night outside and we hoped to enjoy one of the last comfortable nights of the season before the cold weather sets in. Instead we asked for an inside table as far away from the ruckus as possible. Even that didn't work. Our conversation consisted mainly of huh? what did you say? sorry I couldn't hear you. This is not the fine dining experience we expected and paid for. I could have taken that $140 for the meal and set a match to it and got just as much enjoyment, maybe more. So much for fine dining! UPDATE! I am happy to report that my complaints did not fall on deaf ears. Management has stepped up to the plate and made things better. I returned tonight with my party and had a delightful time the way it should be. I am grateful that I do not have to write off yet another establishment that thinks anything goes. I invite you to enjoy the experience for yourself, and no, this is not a paid advertisement.

Thank you for being our guest and for your thoughtfulness in extending this feedback, Robert. It's always disheartening to hear when an experience misses the mark such as this, and we apologize that the band was a hinderance to the occasion. We can appreciate the frustration, and we hope that you'll reach out to our management team and afford us the opportunity to welcome you back and to showcase our ambiance and hospitality at its more standard.

Went only for dinner and drinks and that was the perfect way to start a Palm Springs weekend. This hotel embodies the essence of PS. Decor is out of this world, have food and drinks and enjoy the unique decor. Food was good, not impressive but good and would like to go back to spend the day by the beautiful pool.

Thanks for the visit and outreach, Adrian. We're exceedingly proud of our historic property and happy to have introduced you to some of our offerings. Whether for dinner, a day by the pool, or an overnight escape, it would be a pleasure to host you again and to share the vast offerings and playfulness for which we're renown. Best wishes until then, and thanks again for stopping in and reaching out.

Great hotel with lots of historic significance. It was a hangout for Frank Sinatra, the Rat Pack and Marilyn Monroe. Stayed here during Coachella, and it was a great spot. The shuttle picked up from the hotel which was convenient. Regarding the hotel, definitely ask for a room facing the pool. There are two pools, the main pool is busier and it's bar is always open. Great place to lounge around and drink Mojitos. Parking is reasonable at $10/day. The restaurant serves good food, and the cocktails are on point. Will definitely stay again.

DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL! This used to be the only hotel I stayed at in Palm Springs. Sadly, the hotel has completely gone downhill. The staff is rude and hound you constantly about your wristbands. It's obnoxious. When you pay to relax, do you really need someone asking you every time you walk through the gate about your wristband? Then the staff insists on putting it on you as though you're a child. They have security everywhere except when it matters. Friday and Saturday night I was woken up at 2:30 am because of drunk idiots next door screaming off their balcony. Turns out there were 10 GUYS IN 1 ROOM! Security cares so much about wristbands but apparently as many people can stay in 1 room as they choose. The entire stay was bad. And sadly this was the third bad experience. It's become too much of a party hotel with little concern for the guest experience. If you're looking for a sweet getaway in the sunshine by the pool, this IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO. To top it all off, when I expressed the horrible time I had, they responded with a pathetic automated survey. Spend your money elsewhere, there are a lot of great resorts in Palm Springs like the JW Marriott.

We're certainly disheartened to hear of the many shortcomings of your visit, Lex, and we apologize for missing the mark so significantly. We certainly work diligently to ensure each guest experience is an enjoyable and memorable one, and it's clear we fell short of this with you. Our management team would certainly appreciate the opportunity to speak with you further regarding your experience, and we hope that you'll reach out and afford us the opportunity. Thank you in advance for your continued attention.
