This place has something for everybody. I came here for a relaxing weekend by the pool and to visit the spa which I definitely got. The pool bar has wait staff that will bring you drinks and snacks. While the pool was a bit crowded and we had a hard time finding a spot to put our things, our group of 3 wasn't bothered. The spa was also very nice. Carlo was happy to greet us when we arrived and I got a wonderful massage from Heidi. Afterwords we were offered champagne in our private jacuzzi. Great experience. That all said, this is a party hotel. You get the feeling people were there to TURN UP. People making out in the pool, drunkenly making their way back to their rooms at the end of the night. Nothing too bothersome however as we were able to sleep straight through the night on their VERY comfortable beds. Though maybe not the most kid friendly place.

What earns you guys two stars? 1. 30 dollar resort fee per person. It should be illegal to falsely advertise a price then add 30 dollars per day, per person, for a "resort fee". I assume it's only for covering the subpar gym, cumbersome internet service allowing only one device, and, as far as I can see, that's it. 2. 20 dollar parking fee per day. Do people ride their bikes, piled up with luggage, from out of town? I can't understand that this fee isn't included with the room somehow. 3. If you're here for an event prepare to pay 16 bucks for a ice filled, weakly poured, poorly mixed drink. That's just lame.. oh, and the bartenders STILL would like a tip please. 4. There is not a lot to do within walking distance of the place. 5. Back to the charges that piss me off.. $160 dollars a night, + $60 for my wife and I (per day), + $20 a day parking, + room tax and state, county, city fees. Equals roughly $300 a night. So... much more than the advertised $160 nightly. Pro.. 1. Staff is nice... but, they should be when customers are being fucked over. Solution: Be up front about your pricing, don't try to compete with an online "deal" and then inform your customers that there are a ton of fees when they arrive. Hopefully, the class action lawsuits associated with this practice will make this illegal. As it should be. It would be nice to know that a business is willing to take care of its customers and simply be truthful... just sad really.

Terrible customer service, false advertisement on bed sizes, box spring smaller than top mattress, management was rude and not accomodating at all, key cards all demagnetized upon room arrival, cappuccino was simply horrible(milk and coffee), parking: far, small stalls. Pool: too small--too crrowded. No Full size mirror in room... Overall: a very NEGATIVE experience.. Really disappointed...

Good location to downtown, easy self parking, nice room with sitting area (king bed room), really comfortable bed. Pool did run out if towels though.

I enjoyed my stay. After about a 2 hr drive from L.A., check in was quick and painless. We were upgraded to a jr. suite which was nice. Room was clean, staff was always polite and helpful. Pool area was clean and relaxing. Overall 10/10, will return again.

Room and service are great! Unfortunately, we came during Splash House party weekend so we weren't able to check in early. In addition, weed and alcohol smell is very strong. Parking isn't too bad. However, the layout of the hotel is very confusing, so hard to find the room.

I attended my high school reunion there. The staff was great and it was beautiful. I think they charged too much for the venue which made ticket prices too high. The bar was ridiculously priced for bottom shelf drinks.

We recently sent a large group of 68 people to a conference and paid for their entire 4 day stay at the Riviera Palm Springs. The check we sent was over $27,000. The guests were required to put a credit card on file for incidentals, which is customary for all hotels. That being said, one guest was charges $847.23 for her stay. They would not let her check out until she paid in full. She let them know that her company sent a check for her stay and they agreed to remove the charges from her credit card and was told that they would contact us to work out the payment details. I have left several messages with the accounting manager and two others in the accounting department and have not receive a phone call to date. Four weeks after checking out, the charges have been charged to her credit card once again. I am hoping that by posting this, they will contact us to resolve this matter.
