Besides iPhone 6 And iWatch, Apple Has A Brand New Hardware Incoming! http://www.redmondpie.com/first-apple-designed-hardware-for-ibeacon-revealed-in-new-fcc-filing/
FCC filings were once a great way of getting a sneak peak at what Apple is working on, but those little leaks have become more and more rare of late. One has been picked up in the last day or so though, and it's all about iBeacons.

There are plenty of things that accompany a new iPhone release. There are the inevitable rumors, then the ever-increasing number of leaks and supposed dummy models that start to appear thanks to third-party case manufacturers and the like. But there's a third feature of a new iPhone release that is arguably even more characteristic of the Apple community, and that's the 3D render of the unreleased device itself.

These great iPhone, iPad apps have gone absolutely FREE for a limited time. Download them all! http://www.redmondpie.com/download-11-worth-of-iphone-and-ipad-apps-absolutely-free-today-right-here-limited-time-only/
We're all for paying for great apps, but there's no denying that there are few finer things in smartphone-owning life than getting a real gem of an app for free, especially when it would usually cost you money. Sometimes there really is such a thing as a free lunch, no matter what the naysayers have to say.

There has long been debate about whether the Apple eBay Store is actually 100% official or not, with some believing that Apple lets a third-party run its eBay presence so that it doesn't have to worry about it itself, but the general consensus is that it's as good as official. With that in mind, it's often been a good place to bag a good bargain. The store has had a restock recently too, which means you're going to want to check it out if you’re ...

You can now take your iPhone down to 300ft (100m) for underwater photography! http://www.redmondpie.com/this-iphone-5s-5-case-is-waterproof-down-to-300ft-video/
Although many new smartphones offer waterproofing as standard, they're not of a standard whereby they could be taken deep underwater for the purpose of, say, snapping photos or capturing videos. However, despite the fact that the Apple iPhone lags behind the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S5 in the waterproofing stakes, one third-party accessory maker has come through with a waterproof case that, incredibly, remains semi-functional even when the use...

It's a well-known fact that Samsung spends copious amounts of money on advertising and marketing, and a good deal of that budget is commanded by adverts bashing rival Apple in one way or another. Two of the most influential outfits in mobile space, it's not uncommon for each company to deliver several ads a year taking shots at the other's products and services, and as such, it should come as little surprise that Samsung's efforts to plug its Gal...

Jailbreak king and the man behind Cydia, Jay Freeman, had taken to the web to post a lengthy diatribe about a variety of things ranging from the monetization of Cydia to his own motivations to actually do the work on Cydia in the first place.

Although the iPhone 6is all the rage in the tech blogosphere these days, another product that has been generating a lot of is the rumored Apple iWatch (mind you, it may be rumored technically, it’s all but certain that the device is seeing the light of day this fall or the holiday season). Since we’re not entirely certain yet what the device would look like, designers are continuing to take jabs at what the possible product might be, and a new co...

Hiring executives from Burbury and TagHeur indicates that Apples sense of direction will be to promote it as an upmarket status symbol. All puff, promo and no use at all.
I still can't imagine walking around with a daft screen strapped to my wrist. But then I rarely wear a watch anyway now . Nevertheless Apple seriously upstaged by others who have their stuff out 'now'.

If you just can't wait until the expected September iPhone 6 release, then there is one option that you may not have already considered. With Apple's unannounced new flagship just two months or so away, Chinese clone makers have already managed to get their iPhone 6 knockoffs out the door, as reported by the French site.

Did you know: you have two email IDs on Gmail for same account. Here's how you can make use of this feature! http://www.redmondpie.com/you-have-two-email-addresses-on-gmail-heres-how-to-use-this-feature/
If you're a user of Google's very efficient, feature-rich Gmail service, you mightn't know that, in actual fact, you have two different email addresses through which you can be reached. This ideal if, say, you wish to make two accounts for a specific site or service, but want all notifications and correspondence to be sent to the same inbox, and although many of you will already be aware of this little tip, it's still a useful one to know.

Any mobile gadget looking to attain FCC certification must, at this moment in time, have certain details branded onto the product itself, stating that said device has indeed been approved. However, the agency has today relaxed these rules somewhat, and mobile devices, including the Apple iPhone, may no longer need these details to be etched onto each and every unit as standard.

Now if they would do away with the rest of the crap they put on the back too. (Not a troll/fanboy post...I just want a blank back panel.)

Dr. Dre's Beats Electronics, soon to be part of the Apple empire following a massive acquisition announcement of $3 billion, has filed a lawsuit that it hopes will not only put a collection of Chinese counterfeiters out of business, but also rake in a pretty penny when it comes to fines and seizure of assets.
