It's truly a sad day today, not only for Brussels, but for the entire European continent. I can only hope that our leaders can take lessons from this, and perhaps understand for once, while we are proud to be a people made of tolerant values, we cannot tolerate such hate. I'm sending my positive thoughts to the families and friends of those who were caught in this coward act.
At least 30 dead and more than 220 injured after explosions at Zaventem airport and at Maelbeek metro station near EU buildings in Belgian capital

This is from a little marketplace for used books underneath a passage near Southbank Centre. Always love walking around that area.

There are still some places on this Earth that haven't been touched by the greed of humanity, and not surprisingly, they are simply beautiful.

Human beings were not meant to be slapped with labels like products in a supermarket. We are meant to be free. We stop thinking small, and get rid of these labels, and start seeing each other for who we truly are!

I though it would be nice to get back to blogging by sharing a bit of what happened during the past few years and what I'm planning to do next. You might find this an interesting read if you're struggling to move out your comfort zone.
It has been a long time since I’ve sat down to write an entry as long as this one, and while I’ve been eager to come back here and share more of my experiences with you, I just couldn’t figure out what to say. Even when there was an interesting idea for an article popping …

You've got to love British politics! This guy is asking for a violent revolution to free working class people from the shackles of the rich. #ELECTION2015

Awesome to see the amazing work that Iron Man does when he's not saving the world from alien invaders. Tony Stark is the man!

Introduction

HI there! My name is Ray Vellest and I'm an independent creative professional. I work with startups, small businesses, agencies, non-profit organisations and individuals all over the world from my home studio based in London, UK. I help my clients by creating branding experiences that add value to their businesses while also positioning them as leaders of their respective industries. I’m successful in what I do because I channel my experience to attend to my clients needs while alo building valuable long term assets for their businesses.

With more than 10 years of experience in marketing, advertising, graphic and web design, I bear a multidisciplinary background that allows me an unique approach to my clients needs. I’m able to design brands from a multi-disciplinary perspective, in contrast to an exclusive aesthetic point-of-view approach adopted by the great majority of designers.I’m able to provide powerful branding insights whilst the duration of the project, read my previous clients testimonials to have an idea of what it’s like to work with me.

I write about my working experiences on my personal blog and collaborate with a handful of design blogs across the Internet. My articles have been featured in many highly visited websites such as Web Designer Depot and the Treehouse blog. I'm an active user of social media websites and my profiles are followed by thousands worldwide.

I’m based in my own design studio in London, England where I work with clients from all over the world. Apart from local UK business I've already worked with companies in the Arab Emirates, Australia, Bahamas, Brazil, France, and United States. A selection with my featured work can be viewed in my brand identity portfolio. Feel free to get in touch to hire me or if there's anything else that I could help you with.
