Scientists in Myanmar have discovered a bird that was considered extinct. The bird, a Jerdon's babbler, was last seen in 1941 near the Sittaung River in Myanmar. If the babbler is considered a full species rather than a subspecies it could be protected heavily and considered of very high conservation concern. Explore the re-discovery of the Jerdon's babbler and other endangered and extinct bird species for your next environmental science research paper.

Slave, traveler, evangelist, abolitionist, and saint. A scant 400 years after Jesus' birth, the priest known as Patrick took the Great Commission seriously, to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth by converting the frightening barbarians of that scary outpost known as Ireland. Dates and details of Patrick's life are somewhat ambiguous since written records from fifth-century Ireland are scarce. A lot of what we know comes from what little Patrick himself wrote, or from biographies written long after his time. Research more about St. Patrick as St. Patrick's day approaches for your next European history research paper.

Drinking diet soda has always seemed like a healthier alternative to regular, sugary soda, allowing you to skip the sugar, while still enjoying your beverage of choice. But new research has shown that the artificial sweeteners used in diet soda can cause serious health risks, increasing your chance of developing a chronic disease, such as diabetes or heart disease. Consider writing about the artificial sweetener used in diet sodas and the health risks that come along with it for your next health sciences research paper.

There are many myths surrounding the death of Julius Caesar which happened on the Ides of March. A lot of those myths come from Shakespeare, who relied exclusively on Plutarch to paint his picture of Rome. But Strauss uses Plutarch in concert with other ancient sources like Nicolaus of Damascus, Suetonius, Appian, and Cassius Dio, as well as the work of other scholars. Weighed against one another, together they form a more complete picture of Rome at the time — and one that happens to bust a lot of myths. Explore the complete story of Julius Caesar's death and debunk the myths for your next history research paper.
The assassination of Caesar is legendary. But as with most legends, that means there are a lot of myths that need to be debunked.

Explore the evolution of some important criminal laws for your next American government research paper.

During the month of January 2015, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) tracked 102 cases of measles reported across 14 states. This measles outbreak is a cause for concern because so many cases were reported in such a short time compared to previous years. In 2014, a record 644 cases of measles were recorded from 27 states. That was the greatest number of cases since the year 2000. The fear of a severe outbreak has reignited the vaccination debate and the question of personal choice in the use of vaccines. As the story continues to unfold, it makes for a good research paper topic.
