We’re proud to announce that the ‪‎Langston Hughes‬ Community Library and Cultural Center was one of the five local libraries awarded $20,000 at last night's NYC Neighborhood Library Awards ceremony!
Queens Libraries at ‪Cambria Heights‬ and ‪Sunnyside‬ also received $10,000 each.

NYC Council Members Julissa Ferreras, I. Daneek Miller and Jimmy Van Bramer were each there to introduce their libraries and celebrate with our winners.

Thank you to the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and Charles H. Revson Foundation for their support, and congratulations to Langston Hughes, Cambria Heights and Sunnyside for this incredible achievement and for their dedication to their communities!

Thank you Queens Borough President Melinda Katz, NYC Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer, Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney and everyone who joined us at our Hunters Point Groundbreaking ceremony!
After 15 years, the wait is finally over for the Long Island City community, who worked hard to bring a new waterfront library to the neighborhood.
