The donated tablets were first available to people in areas of Queens hit hard by Hurricane Sandy. Now the Google tablets can be borrowed from the Central Library in Jamaica and soon at all locations!
At the Queens Library you can get a good book — and a computer to go.

After years of budget cuts, the city’s three library systems need $65 million more in public funding to provide more hours, more programs, and more vital resources to New Yorkers. Your support can make a difference!  Please sign a petition to tell the city to increase funding for NYC libraries.

A massive renovation -- gutting, cleaning, repainting, rewiring -- was needed to get everything back up to speed. The library, which reopened March 18, is a vital part of the community.<br/>

We will be planting flowers and starting a vegetable garden. If you have gardening wisdom to share or are looking to learn, please come by on the last Friday of the month throughout spring and summer!
