Staying on the Queen Mary was on my "bucket list" and I can say I really enjoyed it. My bar tab was pricey, but that was my fault ~ ha..... it was a true journey, clean rooms, and the food was good too........ To walk the halls, and see the grandeur of such a great ship was impressive. The FREE shuttle to across the harbor was great. It runs every 15 minutes. I would suggest to the owner they put in a business center. The free type instead of the "pay by the minute." The front desk staff was helpful, and the older retired Navel Officer was great in information. He was dressed in "Navy Dress Blues." It takes at least 1/2 day to explore.... GREAT STAY~

We stayed for 2 nights on the M deck. The rooms were pretty clean and still had the original and vintage feel to them. We went on two of the ghost tours and both of them were really fun and the tour guards were really awesome. The only downsides were that it was pretty pricey and the walls in the rooms were so thin that you can hear your neighbors. Overall it was an amazing experience!

Chill was a great experience this year. We noticed a lot of positive changes in the care of the ship as well. Was a great improvement in quality. Little things seem finally to be well looked after and now we look forward to Scott's fest

Went there for their Sunday brunch. It was amazing! Expensive ($56+tax+tip) but worth every dollar because for food was so good. And they had so much gourmet variety, which I loved. Breakfast bar which included omelet station and crepe station, Mexican bar, seafood bar, salad n fruit bar, Asian fusion bar, craving bar (meats), kids bar with Mac n cheese n chicken fingers, dessert bar....and much more. Even the coffee was delicious. Service and champagne was great too! Definitely recommend it. Great for special occasions like bday or anniversary or to take outta towners. I went for a bachelorrette party. Great brunch with the bride to be. If you have brunch, make sure to take your parking ticket because they will validate. Otherwise, parking cost something as crazy as $18.

I came to the Queen Mary with my wife and mother in law. We got tickets for the haunted tour where they took us down to the engine room where people had died an accident and we got the story along with sound and smoke effects. It was an enjoyable, if not short, tour. The ship itself is beautiful with long hallways and ornate decorations. You can truly feel the history when you're inside of it. We didn't stay in any of the rooms, although we met my brother in law in a room he was staying, and it was very nice. My only piece of advice would be for taller people like me, to watch your head in the hallways.

Went to Chill with my 5 year old daughter. It was not as good as a few years ago. The ice area used to be more open with lots of different structures and lights. Now it's like a maze that you are guided through, and there are only a few sculptures that tell the story of scrooge (which is not interesting for kids). Outside if the ice area, all of the food is overpriced. The only redeeming thing was the free 4d movie on the Queen Mary. We probably will not be going again.

I am a bit of a historical buff. I appreciated the Queen Mary being maintained in original condition of it's era. Yes some of the fixtures, etc were worn. Many of the wall coverings are original. I found no real problem with cleanliness. The facilities were excellent and the service and meals were good. The staff were all excellent. A trip to the Queen Mary is a step back in history and should be accepted as such. I commend the City of Long Beach for not turning the ship into a cheap tourist trap and leaving it for the whole world to see. The Queen Mary is one of the great marvels of the past that deserved to be preserved.

The location is next the highway, so it was convenient. I went to Queen Mary Chill and not the hotel. It was okay, I have gone to far better ice worlds. The sculptures aren't as nice and detailed and it felt kind of rushed since it's a linear passage. You can't really walk around and explore. There are sales on the tickets and even for that price it's okay. You'd be crazy to spend the MSRP $45 on them.
