In this video Magic Momo Superdog earns a blue ribbon in an AKC Premier Trial in Santa Rosa on a blistering hot day. Momo is on a roll and is eager to qualify for AKC National Trials, which will be held on 3/23 through 3/25/18 in Reno. Depending on how many dogs qualify, Thursday March 22, 2017 may also be added. Momo is 3 years old and is Phil Seyer's first agility dog. Notable in this run:

Backside jump to Weave Poles
Independent Weave Poles as per Janita of OMD
Front Cross while dog in weave poles
Rear Crosses -- lots of them
Connection with dog upon exit of tunnels
Rhythm change to cue turn.

Funny walk out from start line
Requirements for AKC National Trials, March 2018 in Reno, Nevada

Music: Pick Up Truck by Silent Partner

Momo enjoys dog agility and will be testing her skills at AKC Nationals! She qualified by grabbing more than 7 double Q's and 550 NAC points. Here is a video of one of her recent AKC Premier Runs, which earned her a blue ribbon: https://youtu.be/xtPvjbcHYXA

Magic Momo Superdog has qualified for AKC Nationals. Here's one of the runs that helped her qualify -- first place in a local Premier run.. Notice how she decides to take some of the obstacles of her own accord, but then backs off when I give her a verbal cue. My target for improvement is to give better non-verbal cues to point her in the right direction so fewer verbals are needed. hahaha!

Just wrote a new article to help dog agiliy handler's (and others) with anxious dogs. It shows 4 ways to calm your dog. Please take a look and let me know what you think.

Magic Momo Superdog earns new JWW title and blue ribbon. See link below. I use these techniques:

* K9 Arrow (OMD calls it a Human Arrow)
* Verbal cues when Momo is in tunnel to shape a sharp turn coming out of
tunnel.
* Weave Pole grab
* Independent weaves let me position myself at next obstacle
* Rhythm Change to indicate turn is coming
* Rear Cross at finish line for sharp turn to final fence.

My INSPIRE program throws up an inspiring message each morning. Here's the one for today: “Be grateful for what you have now. As you begin to think about all the things in your life you are grateful for, you will be amazed at the never ending thoughts that come back to you of more things to be grateful for. You have to make a start, and then the law of attraction will receive those grateful thoughts and give you more just like them.” -- Rhonda Byrne, The Secret
