A shooting yesterday in Moreno Valley that left a man and woman dead appears to be a murder-suicide related to domestic violence, authorities say. They had several young children, but a neighbor said the father sent them to a nearby park just before the shooting.

So-called 'mega' warehouses are dividing the Calimesa City Council -- and the community. Mayor Joyce McIntyre wants to cap warehouses at 100,000 square feet; Councilman Jim Hyatt wants to cap the size at 250,000 square feet, and 500,000 on a case-by-case basis. The council takes up the issue Aug. 3.
