STORM UPDATE: Crews continue to make progress restoring customers, with about 88,000 restored since yesterday. About 30,000 remain out. We're moving crews into hardest-hit areas to help speed restoration, and bringing in assistance crews from out of state.
Current regional restoration estimates are as follows. Note that these are estimates for the LAST customers in these areas, and many customers will be restored BEFORE these times. Customers will receive individual restoration times as crews arrive to make repairs.
Poconos and Northeast PA – Noon Friday
Frackville, Hazleton, Panther Valley – 11 p.m. Thursday
Bloomsburg, Lock Haven, Sunbury – 3 p.m. Thursday
Harrisburg area – Noon Thursday
Lancaster County area; also Lehigh Valley, Bucks and Montgomery counties – 11 p.m. Wednesday

Severe storms are possible this afternoon and evening in parts of our service area. If you lose power, be sure to report it by calling 1-800-DIAL-PPL (342-5775) or online at pplelectric.com/outage. Stay clear of fallen lines and be sure to promptly report them to us. We'll work as quickly and safely as we can to restore power to anyone affected by these storms.

Not to be a downer, but times when the weather is good are when you need to plan for when it turns bad. Do you have a storm or emergency plan -- including knowing who you would turn to if you needed help?
