As a standard installer, it copies files to a drive using standard Windows APIs, so there's nothing in it that can 'create' an error on any disk, whether local or removable. Any installer or unzip program does the same. Normally, an error on a removable drive indicates an issue with that drive. An error with multiple drives on the same PC, however, indicates an issue with the USB port; often a loose connection or short. If you need further assistance, please post in our forums.
