Read Mohammed's heart-wrenching story, highlighting the importance of providing children with psychosocial support and a safe place to learn and play during and after conflicts > http://bit.ly/1K9WbQs
My name is Mohammed and I’m 13 years old. I go to school in the Gaza strip. Here I explain how life was for me and my family growing up in Gaza during the war. In the early days of the war I felt very scared when I heard the sound of missiles, planes and bombings, it felt like there were monsters and goblins around me and I couldn’t sleep.

Working with the world’s poorest children so they can move themselves from a life of poverty to a future with opportunity
Introduction

We work with children in 50 of the world’s poorest countries to help them build a better future

Plan is a global children’s charity. We work with children in the world’s poorest countries to help them build a better future. A future you would want for all children, your family and friends.

For over 70 years we’ve been taking action and standing up for every child’s right to fulfil their potential.

With your support, children, families and entire communities have the power to move themselves from a life of poverty to a future with opportunity.
